"Stasis Interrupted"

Final Piece of Aliens Colonial Marines DLC is Now Available

Aliens: Colonial Marines Season Pass owners can now get their final piece of DLC. "Stasis Interrupted" crept onto digital markets yesterday. I know ACM was a disappointment to many, including me. It fell somewhere on the Outraged Gamer Scale between "Don't care" and "OMG! Let's sue over the Mass Effect 3 ending." It has finally been put out of it's misery.

You DID buy a season pass, didn't you?

Aliens: Colonial Marines Getting Campaign Based DLC

Ok, we admit Aliens: Colonial Marines is one of the biggest failures in gaming we can remember in recent history. It took years and years to develop, it was released loaded with bugs and glitches, the campaign was just downright lacking, and the Wii U version was canceled. But that shouldn't stop anyone from making some good ol' fashioned DLC, should it?

Wii U owners can stop expecting the latest Aliens game

Aliens: Colonial Marines Officially Cancelled for Wii U

In news that probably shocks no one, Sega has officially confirmed that the Wii U version of Aliens: Colonial Marines is no longer in development. The latest Aliens game, developed by Gearbox and published by Sega, came out mid February of this year on PS3, 360, and PC; however, the promised Wii U version was conspicuously absent from Q1 2013. There was no comment by Sega or Demiurge (the developer in charge of the Wii U port) then about its absence, leading to speculation about the port's cancellation. Today it's official: there's no plans of it ever happening.

Got us in here to do your dirty work.

Aliens: Colonial Marines Receives Bug Hunt DLC

Aliens: Colonial Marines released a new objective-based cooperative mode yesterday. "Bug Hunt" is a survival mode which allows four players to team up and fight against 30 waves of xenomorphs and enemy soldiers. There are three new maps, dubbed Broadside, Mercenary, and Tribute. Players can use the money they earn from kills to capture beacon points and to buy better weapons and ammo.

Is this thing working now?

Aliens: Colonial Marines Receives 4GB Patch on PC

Aliens: Colonial Marines has received a massive patch on the PC bringing it up to date AND past the recently patched console version of the game.  The four player co-op shooter was released to mostly negative reviews due to buggy gameplay, poor AI, and unimpressive visuals.  While we gave the game a 3 out of 5 for co-op play, it definitely wasn't worth the $60.  It's a good thing it's down to $35 already.

Like pouring acid on a fresh wound

Aliens: Colonial Marines Season Pass Details and Patch Notes

Aliens: Colonial Marines launched today and the reviews are not so good. Hey, at least we get to see one of the most quoted lines of all time used in almost every single review! Brilliant. But since A:CM doesn't seem to be causing eye cancer, I'm sure some fans are still going to enjoy it. Maybe. I guess I'm not so sure about that. Somebody, somewhere, might like it. I don't know. My only experience with the game was from a short session at E3 that was actually quite enjoyable, but not everyone is a sexual Tyrannosaurus, like me. Apparently I played the best part.
