Platformers dominated the console market in the days of Mario and Sonic, but they are now a rarer beast; especially ones based on a new idea.  JUJU is an upcoming 2 player co-op platformer with an all new world and characters.  Check out the new cinematic trailer for an introduction.

JuJu was actually the first game we got our hands on with at E3 2014, the two player co-op platformer features a cuddly teddy bear like character named JuJu and meerkat like sidekick named Pejo as they team up for some platforming adventures in a colorful world. Justin sat down with a few of the devs from the team and chatted about the design, inspirations and what we can expect for co-op play.

Many games boast pick-up-an-play, but few actually are. Luckily for you and whoever else happens to be on your couch, Juju really is. In two player local co-op, players control Juju and Peyo through multiple environments as they try to rescue Juju's father who has been captured.

First announced last month as "Juju and Peyo," the newly re-titled JUJU, the latest from developer Flying Wild Hog, is getting its co-op debut with a new video focused on that one thing we all love: cooperation.

Hop and stomp gameplay starring a lizard and a panda. Makes perfect sense! Recently announced by Flying Wild Hog studios, Juju and Peyo is an upcoming retro-themed platform game that's more colorful than a mantis shrimp's crayon collection. It's got co-op, too, which is another reason why we're looking forward to it!
