Get a Free Taste of Kinect Rush (and Achievements) with Kinect Rush Snapshot

Publishers release demos of new and upcoming games all the time - it's expected these days. But French developer Asobo and Microsoft have done something unusual for Kinect Rush: A Disney Pixar Adventure. They've released a Kinect Rush-themed Kinect Fun Labs gadget called Kinect Rush Snapshot. Not only is Snapshot free, but the included Achievements make it worth downloading even if you already own the retail title.

Video for Kinect Rush: A Disney Pixar Adventrue Appeals to the Kid in Me

Kinect Rush: A Disney Pixar Adventure has been so off my radar, it might as well have been in stealth mode.  If you're anything like me you usually stop reading about a game as soon as you get to the word "Disney."  Heck, a lot of you stop reading when you see the word "Kinect."  I wonder what would happen if they named the game: "Pixar's Kinect Adventures."  Hmm...

The Co-Op Release Alert for the Week of 3.19.2011

This week we have two team-based co-op games launching; one featuring mechs, the other featuring zombies.  Another game centers on ninjas.  I'll let you guess which one.  Mechs, zombies, and ninjas?  All we need now are some aliens and we'll have the quadrilateral base of the perfect gaming Pyramid of Villainy.  Cap it all off with some Nazis and we'll have ourselves a party! (Nazis always cap the pyramid.  Always.)

New Kinect Game Features Disney Pixar Characters and Co-Op

When the Wii opened up the whole "casual" gaming venture to the consoles (what feels like) many years ago, Disney seemed like a natural fit with this crowd. Afterall, they'd already been releasing plenty of tie-in games and other forms of interactive entertainment for years. The release of the Kinect, then, was yet another platform for the world's most famous mouse and all of his friends to hop onto to spread fun and cheer to the world. Kinect Disneyland Adventures was the first release to utilize the new motion controls, and coming out of this year's CES event, a new co-op title for the family has been announced featuring characters and environments from five of Pixar's films - Kinect Rush: A Disney•Pixar Adventure.
