Operation Velvet Shell Kicks off Season 2 of Rainbow 6 Siege Today

The second season of content for Rainbow 6 Siege kicks off today with "Operation Velvet Shell." As with the past content, this new DLC brings with it a new map that's free to everyone (Coastline) and two new operators, Jackal and Mira, which you can either earn in-game currency to purchase or acquire automatically if you pick up the season pass.

Eight New Operators in Season 2 of Rainbow 6 Siege

Ubisoft recently confirmed that support and new content would continue for another year for Rainbow 6 Siege, and it looks like next year's content will be similar in at least some ways to this year's. The biggest thing for the co-op fans will be the addition of eight new operators so you have more choices for putting together your ideal "Terrorist Hunt" team.

Kinect Nat Geo TV and Sesame Street TV Get Second Seasons in January

Microsoft's Kinect peripheral offers some fine opportunities to get in shape while having a bit of fun. Earlier this year, learning also entered the mix thanks to Kinect Nat Geo TV and Kinect Sesame Street TV (only the former of which is co-op). As I explained in our co-op review, I wasn't crazy about the actual game portion of Nat Geo TV, but I did approve of the concept as a whole. It seems the wider Kinect audience appreciated the idea too, as both games will receive a second season on January 7th, right after the holidays.
