While a significant portion of the gaming populous has moved on from Turtle Rock Studio's shooter, Evolve, the developer has not abandoned it. In fact, they're hoping to bring some attention back to the game with the release of Evolve Stage 2 on PC, a free-to-play retooling of the original.
We all know a few folks who fall under the "late to the party" description. We tell them to meet us somewhere at 8:00, and at 8:15 they inform us that, due to an unforeseen chimpanzee emergency, they're just now leaving their underground science compound. Earlier this year Evolve was released and it pretty much fell by the wayside as gamers did not see the value in the 4v1 first person shooter.
