Pixel Junk Shooter - The First Level in Video Form
Rumor on the street is the next co-op Pixel Junk game is set to hit the PlayStation Network next week. Pixel Junk Shooter is a mix of strategy and action as players descend through caverns filled with lava, water and rock to rescue trapped miners. It's looks a bit like the classic game ChopLifter, except with absolutely stunning animations and visuals.
The video posted below shows off the game's intro section and first level, giving players an idea of what to expect. The entire game can be played in two player co-op fashion, and from our PAX impressions, it's going to be a damn good time.
As we said, the game looks nothing short of beautiful. The animation as the water flows out of broken rock and splash down into the lava to create a new breakable area is going to look even better HD. The music is serene and only adds to the atmosphere. Lets hope the rumors are true, and we see the game next week.
