Diablo 3 Co-Op Gameplay Video with Wizard and Barbarian

I'll admit. I'm a man who craves immediate gratification. Upon seeing the latest Diablo 3 footage from Blizzcon of the recently announced Wizard class teaming up with the previously announced Barbarian; all I can say is....I WANT IT NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!

There's almost 6 minutes of absolutely gorgeous gameplay here. The Wizard is shown off in all her glory with plenty of pretty spells that cast some gorgeous special effects. My personal favorite is the lightning attack, and don't even get me started on the awesome fog effects.

Seriously Blizzard, throw us a friggin bone here, give us a hint of when we can team up with 5 of our friends and take down the evil hordes of the underworld. In the meantime, we'll just have to live with the CT that is this video after the Read More link.

I actually liked everything I seen for diablo 3 until THAT video. So I will now ask. Why all the flashy attacks (or is that just because it was a wizard and not a melee class?) and where is the music in the game? Also, the thing that kinda urks me most, why use the same sound files that are 10 years old? i.e. gold drop noise, bow noise, potion noise etc.

My wife and I started playing D2 again recently (Chaos Empire mod) over LAN. We were sooo looking forward to D3, then Blizz says there will be no LAN support. There's no way in hell we're signing on to Battle.net just to play co-op in the same freakin' room!

if it's like the 360 version, I think you can make a custom game mode with infinite respawns.

No you CAN play it by yourself, but the FUN is playing WITH others not AGAINST others.
