Disappointed. I guess I have to wait a bit longer to find out if its region locked or not.

Whats funny is that all this is already on the disc, and yet there is a "technical issue" with it.

where'd you hear that? i know the DLC has been "ready" for a long time but that's only because the games release was delayed for purely bureaucratic reasons. that's why it strikes me as odd that this is delayed. the impression i've had is that they haven't been rushed to put this DLC out because of all the extra time they were given. oh well.

Been reading Epic forums quite frequently lately. There it has been mentioned many times that this first DLC is already on the disc. We are just paying to have it unlocked.

I've been reading the Epic forums, too. I'd take everything said on there with a big grain of salt. Unless it comes straight from Rod or Cliffy B, consider it dubious.

So far, I'm a bit let down over the delay, but I can't complain. Gears 3 has delivered above my expectations. The Jack-o-Lantern Head Modes last night was a hoot.

It is. I just downloaded it. Still get the "it's Delayed message" on the calendar.

Also, the download itself was only 1.42 MB, so obviously most (or all ?) of the stuff were already on the disc.
