Microsoft has launched a promotion in which you can earn free Microsoft points just for playing Halo 4 multiplayer? Just how much Halo 4? Over 5 days worth of Master Chief goodness.
Here's the breakdown.
If you play Halo 4 for 35 hours during the month of November - you'll earn 100 
.
Play for 70 hours? That's 300 . And finally 140 hours - or 5.8 days straight - you'll get 600 .
But wait...there's more. If you decide to purchase a ridiculous amount of Halo related content on Xbox Live Marketplace, you can earn some extra points. In fact spending 3000 will get you a rebate of 200 points or spending 1500 will get you a rebate of 100.
So what does this all mean? Somebody is going to be playing and spending a lot of money on Halo 4. Make sure you head to the Xbox Rewards site and sign up for the Xbox Rewards program to qualify.
