Dungeon Defenders is out this month. It's hard to believe it's come so far from when we first saw it as a simple game called Dungeon Defense. Developer Trendy Entertainment recently released a video highlighting one of the four Defenders, the Apprentice (the other three being Huntress, Monk, and Squire):

Treyarch continues its love/hate relationship with the co-op community, as mere days after stomping our guts with the dreaded "story is too important" PR line they've begun the path to reconciliation. First in Call of Duty: Black Ops news is an informative interview with senior producer Anna Donlon, who has confirmed that the Nintendo Wii version of Black Ops will include both the Combat Training mode and co-op Zombies. These modes will be playable online with Headbanger Headset support.
F.E.A.R. 3 - which we saw in action at E3 this year - finally has a release date: March 22, 2011. Sporting a two-player story mode, this shooter is bound to fill a certain gap in games with co-op campaigns. The new release date comes after having been delayed from this holiday season into next spring.
Call of Duty: Black Ops may not be launching till next week, on November 9th, but we're still getting the official launch trailer today. The trailer was shown last night during Sunday Night Football but now you'll have the pleasure of watching it over and over again. The music throughout is the Rolling Stones' "Gimme Shelter" - no doubt chosen in part for the time period the game is set during.
The fall update for the Xbox 360 dashboard is now Live. The next time you fire up your Xbox 360 consoles you'll be prompted for the update which not only aesthetically changes your dashboard, it'll add a bunch of new features including Netflix Search, Zune Music, ESPN integration, and most importantly for, you know... people that actually use the console to play games - improved voice chat quality.
With less than a month until the official kickoff of the holiday shopping season, retailers have begun to gear up for big sales. Amazon today is matching a deal that's also available locally at Target - buy two games get one free. Of course the list of titles that qualify for this deal are limited, but, there are a ton of recent releases on there like Rock Band 3, Civilization 5, and NHL 11. There are titles on just about every platform from consoles to PC to handhelds.

Steam is having a weekend sale on Dawn of War 2 and Dawn of War 2: Chaos Rising. The two player co-op RTS from Relic was one we certainly loved and the expansion pack was equally as entertaining.
