Tomorrow is the day.  Grab a friend and get ready to fist bump your way into a destruction filled Shanghai in Army of Two: The 40th Day.  We've been covering the game in depth since last April, when we got an exclusive first look at the game.  Next we saw the game at PAX, where our own Jim and Jason joined Rios and Salem, getting the scoop on weapon customization and more.  And just when you thought we couldn't bring you any more coverage, we went hands on with Extraction, and talked to the game's lead multiplayer designer.

Major Nelson has revealed some data for Xbox Live and Games for Windows Live in terms of Unique Users and titles purchased for their games.  

The bad news?  It's Monday again.  Don't despair, there's good news to be had, too.  Three excellent video game deals are available today for fans of co-op, zombies, dragons, and precious metals.

Ubisoft has confirmed via their Facebook Page that Splinter Cell Conviction will support split screen co-op in the game's multiplayer modes including Deniable Ops and the Co-Op campaign.  

Fable 3 is set to be unveiled next month according to RPGSite.net.  A Lionhead staffer said the game would be unveiled at an event next month.  GDC doesn't take place until March this year, so it won't be unveiled there like Fable 2 was.  Perhaps there will be a special event for people to get a glimpse of the game at?  

We're all gonna die sometime, and most of us don't get the choice of how we want to go.  I think a lot of people are afraid of dying by fire, drowning, or llama stampede - you know, the standard stuff.  But Death by Cube?  That's just terrifying.  I'm checking this one off the list of "ways not to go."  I mean, Look at the blooo...err oil.  Yeah, that's red oil from dead robot cubes.

I considered writing this whole news post in alliteration, but for your sake, dear reader, I restrained myself.  Another huge weekend sale is here on Steam, this time featuring recently released remake Serious Sam HD.  A scandalously sizable 66% savings means you can pick up the game for a slim $6.67.  I was planning to purchase the as yet unreleased Xbox Live Arcade version, but with 16 player co-op and the big sale, I'll be glad to settle for the PC version.  Will cannons and enormous alien bulls be in your future this weekend?

We may finally get some concrete information on Halo Reach's cooperative mode in the next GameInformer - set to hit stands soon for their February issue.  If the cover art is any indication we may be looking at a 5 player co-op title, not 6 as previously thought.  

Halo Waypoint night tonight, so a lot of the staff will be busy with that.  But there's plenty of other gaming to have in the middle of winter.

The latest Crystal Chronicles game, The Crystal Bearers, mixes things up from the usual formula by introducing a whole new game design and limits the co-op experience to just two player. Was this a good change, or should Square Enix have stuck with the usual?
