Saints Row 2 celebrated its 2-year anniversary a few days ago, on October 14th. It was a game that we really liked, due to its awesome co-op options. To celebrate the event, Volition is giving away an extremely rare piece of memorabilia: a framed picture containing a poster of front cover of the game signed by nearly everyone on the Saints Row development team, a copy of the back cover of the game, and a game disc.

Saints Row 2 players who have the Xbox 360 version and a Live Gold membership can pick up the first episodic expansion - Ultor Exposed - on the Live Marketplace for 560 MS Points ($7 US) for this week only.

Microsoft has added the first batch of new titles to its Games on Demand service over Xbox Live.  Among them is Saint's Row 2, a two player co-op title we rather enjoyed last year.  The game costs a staggering 3000 , which translated into real world monies is $37.50.   Considering you can get the full retail game for $28 (shipping included) I'm not quite sure you want to hop on the On-Demand bandwagon just yet.

The latest DLC for 2 player co-op title Saint's Row 2 is now available!  "Ultor Exposed", as it is called, looks to be a worthwhile purchase for fans of co-op!

I'm going to begin this news post with one of the most bizarre developer quotes in recent memory.

50 Cent seems to be worth a lot more than his name suggests. After all he's dabbled in everything from rap and Hip-hop music, to books, to movies, and to our pleasant surprise, co-op video games. Now, he's taking on the project of...Video game movies?

Amazon.com is running a 50% off sale on the Saint's Row 2 Collectors edition for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.  

While Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 gamers had gone back to the row a few months ago, PC owners were left waiting thanks to a few delays.  But the day has finally come where you can don your very own Hot Dog suit...and your buddy can be the Mustard - as you take down evil gangs throughout the city in Saint's Row 2.  

Amazon is currently running their 15 Deals in 15 Days of Video Games deal.  Every day there's some new video game related deal, today's just so happens to feature the very co-op friendly game Saint's Row 2.  In fact, the best deal is the collector's edition, which is available for $49.99 (regularly $79.99).  Also available are the regular editions for cheap, the PlayStation 3 version will set you back $42 while the 360 version will set you back $45.

Another co-op game that was supposed to be released this week was the PC version of Saint's Row 2.  But do to some technical difficulties the game has been delayed until early next year.  This only became apparent during a forum post on the official Volition forums by a moderator.
