Taylor Killian - Editor and Streamer

Taylor began gaming as soon as his hands could fit around a NES controller. Gaming has been a part of his life since he can remember, and he has enjoyed watching the medium grow with him. He attended school at the University of Tennessee and received a BA in English, with a concentration in Creative Writing. While he primarily jammed on single player experiences back in his youth, he has since amassed a trusted crew of allies to tackle any multiplayer challenges that arise. Taylor enjoys cooking and brewing/drinking beer, but is a really terrible rapper. When he isn't waxing about how best to "keep it hood," he is probably cracking some dumb joke that only he finds funny, and has an intense aversion to taking things seriously.

It sure got Geordi excited.

[E3 2016] Party Up In The Final Frontier In Star Trek: Bridge Crew

Despite an accidental leak on Reddit a few days prior to E3, Star Trek: Bridge Crew was one of the highlights of the Ubisoft conference. When LaVar Burton gets incredibly excited about something you know it's got some value, and watching the Trek alums wax praise about the game was fun in itself. Co-op fans might finally have the VR experience we've all been waiting for.

And yes, he's got plenty of weak points.

[E3 2016] Scalebound Gets Crabby In 2017

We now live in a world where "White Haired 20-Something Punk Guy Battles Colossal Monsters and Cracks Wise Far, Far Too Much" is officially a genre. With Scalebound's new trailer at Microsoft's conference this year, the WH2SPGBCMCWFFTM ropes four player co-op into the fold at long last. It also made me realize there is a very thin line between having a chatty main character and having a main character who just seems annoyed to be there.

Voluntary Cyberpunk

Orbit Into the Satellite Reign Co-Op Beta Right Now

Here is a quick tip for anyone out there who fears we might have tumbled into a dystopian Cyberpunk future while everybody was asleep: is any part of your attire glowing? If you answered "no" to this question, congratulations! The world might still frighten the pants off of you, but at least you aren't destined for a life of horrible drudgery in the Conception Machine. If "yes," then you'd better start brushing up on your E-Brain Hacking skills; they'll come in handy! Oh, and warn your friends to watch out for the Synapse Cops.

Looking to new frontiers.

Interstellar Marines Seeks Publisher At Least Seven Years Into Development

It seems like we covered Interstellar Marines seven full years ago when the game was first publicly announced. Maybe that's because we actually did cover Interstellar Marines seven years ago, but who's keeping track, 'eh?  What's important is the team at developer Zero Point Software is ready to finally push their pride and joy out of Steam's Early Access program (which it entered back in July of 2013). But, in order to do that, they need a little help.

You WANT to go into the creepy abandoned castle?!

Drachenfels DLC Lands For Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide

When last we left the stalwart heroes of Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide, everything was awful. It's not like the Warhammer universe is exactly brimming with hope, but current events blew the hinges off of the "How Terrible Is This?" Meter. The ravenous Skaven have taken the city of Ubersreik as you and your three co-op buddies flee the apocalyptic invasion. Not that it really matters all that much because the world is ending. That's like finding out your car was the victim of a piano tumbling out of a 18th story high rise suite, only to look up in time to see the sun explode.

How much door is "too much door"?

Spook Campers With Friday The 13th Gameplay Trailers

Jason Voorhees tops the charts on kill counts as far as major horror villains are concerned. This guy's been skewering/bludgeoning/tearing the limbs off of naked, defenseless campers for a couple of decades now, so he's got way more blood on his hands than your typical "monster of the week." Perhaps that's why a co-op survival horror game based on Friday the 13th, makes sense over, say, a Jeepers Creepers game. Jason won't start to have an existential breakdown no matter how many campers you throw at him. Nope! He'll keep carving into those screaming, amoral teens without question!

Gears Of War 4 Chainsaws Onto Xbox Ones October 11th; New Trailer

The steroid fueled adventures of Marcus "Do-Rag" Fenix may be over, but the Cogs still march on. Gears of War 4 debuted at E3 2015 showcasing two brawny new characters who just love chainsawing living things. JD Fenix, son of Mr. Do-Rag himself, takes center stage while his buddies Kait Diaz and Del Walker join the cast from safety behind a fallen concrete pillar.

The Universe beckons once more.

Starbound 1.0 Release Rapidly Approaches

You and your swarthy seven person crew have battled across the galaxy. Creeping around hostile bird-person ruins, mining alien deserts for their precious resources, and vaporizing everything that runs at you with the urge to kill has only served to strengthen the bonds of you and your posse. However, you soon realize that the universe is a lot more narrow in scope than you expected, so you and your friends return to Earth and convert your space ship into a novelty food truck specializing in fajitas or something.

Can't stop the devil.

Diablo 2 Gets Patched After Five Agonizing Years

We've flung countless adventurers at the devil himself in the 15 years since Diablo 2 launched. I've run through through the pits of hell at least ten times with a buddy or two in the last decade and a half, I would not be who I am today without that harrowing journey. I placed my kris knife on the mantle for the last time around 2009, though many warriors still trudge through the low-fidelity dungeons for the chance to punch Diablo right in his stupid face. Last week, those same stalwart heroes were greeted by something they hadn't seen in five years: a brand new patch.

The cutest heavy assault weapon of them all.

Assault Android Cactus Blasts Onto PS4

With Assault Android Cactus finally landing onto the PlayStation 4, I need some help. Can someone explain to me the frequency of combat droids resembling adorable little girls? Sure, you don't want your nefarious army composed entirely of hulking DeathBots like all the other mad scientists. But out of all the robot designs out there, why do we have to throw the cutesy ones into battle? With Assault Android Cactus, you can even launch four at a time into robotic bullet hell.
