What About Six Days In Fallujah?

To say that Six Days in Fallujah is somewhat controversial is an understatement.  Considering the subject matter of the game, set in one of the worst periods of the war in Iraq, it isn't surprising that some find it questionable.  The war is still going on, and political overtones from all sides tend to cause strong feelings about it.  Is the world ready for a video game based on the Iraq war?

Soldiers Get Their Wish - Co-Op in Fallujah, No Word on the Puppies

Earlier this week we reported on the controversial game from Konami called Six Days in Fallujah.  The title set to take place during the ongoing Iraqi war was immediately put under fire, and we told you how some soldiers think groups are blowing it a bit out of proportion.  One soldier in particular hoped the game would contain a co-op mode, and today Konami has confirmed those wishes with the official game announcement.

Soldiers hope for Co-Op in Six Days in Fallujah, Would Like Puppies Too

Last week when Konami announced Six Days in Fallujah, a tactical game set in the current war in Iraq, there was quite a bit of public outrage.  Members of several groups, including the British military spoke out publicly against the game.  "It's much too soon to start making video games about a war that's still going on, and an extremely flippant response to one of the most important events in modern history. " Said Tim Collins a former colonel, "It's particularly insensitive given what happened in Fallujah, and I will certainly oppose the release of this game."
