Army of Two: The 40th Day Weapon Design Contest

One of the coolest features in the original Army of Two was the weapon shop.  Not only could you buy new guns to use in your co-op missions, you could upgrade and customize the guns, even add gold plating.  Purchasing and upgrading weapons are cool, but what if you could design one from scratch?  Now you can in the latest contest from EA.

1 Million Castles Crashed In 10 Months

One of our favorite old school cool co-op titles is Castle Crashers.  Apparently, we aren't the only ones who enjoy the game, either, according to the Behemoth development blog.  Just two days ago, on June 22, the one millionth player was listed on the Castle Crashers leaderboard.  This achievement makes Castle Crashers the fastest growing title ever released on Xbox Live Arcade.  It's good to see that such an honor belongs to a very strong co-op title!

This Week in Co-Op: 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand

Sometimes I'm amazed at my OG style.  Growing up in the suburbs of a small Pennsylvania city was tough living.  Soccer mom's, math homework, and games on the dodge ball court filled my days in the b-hood - that's short for neighborhood for all you city folk.  But at the end of the day I could always retreat inside, fire up by Sony boombox, and throw in tape of Dr Dre's "The Chronic" or Snoop Dogg's "Doggy Style."  I'm an OG at my core, but I don't need to be one to head back into the Middle East with 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand.

Ghostbusters: The Videogame for the Wii Co-Op Review

By allowing a complete re imaging for the Wii release of a game, Atari did something much different with Ghostsbusters than what we normally see with games. Co-optimus.com was interested to see what those differences were between the Ghostbusters releases from a co-op specific point of view. Since we've already reviewed the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of Ghostbusters, all that was left was the radically different looking and controlling Wii version. Does Ghostbusters on the Wii do co-op as well as the Xbox 360 version, or perhaps, even better?
