LittleBigPlanet for PSP been rumored for a while, but now it's official.  The cutest little mascot Sony's ever had is definitely heading toward the Playstation Portable.  No official release date has been announced other than "before the end of the year".    Sounds like another fall release to me; didn't they learn from their previous mistake?  LBP for PSP (just rolls off the tongue) will be chock full of new content and levels, not just a port.  You'll be able to play, create, and share on the go.

We previously reported that the HAWX PlayStation 3 demo was delayed due to an unforseen volleyball game.   Ok, so there was some technical difficulties.  The good news is, according to the Ubisoft Twitter page, the PS3 demo should hit sometime today after 5PM GMT.

Ever have that fantasy of being in a band...alone? I certainly haven't. So, why then, would Backbone entertainment decide to take the 'band' out of Rock Band in their attempt to recreate the popular party game on the PSP? Rock Band: Unplugged seems to be just that, unplugged.  That's right, no co-op whatsoever.  

From the Sega USA blog page comes a joint post by the community team describing their impressions of Phantasy Star Portable for PSP. The game is coming to the United States March 3rd, and features 4-player ad hoc co-op.

I covered Wii Shooters a few weeks back for Co-Op Casual Friday.  Nerf N-Strike was clearly the cream of the crop as far as I am concerned.  I thought it was worth taking another look at it for a Co-Op Review.  We'll take a look at each of the multiplayer modes in the game, separating the co-op cream from the rest.

Japanese actress Chiaki Kuriyama, who played Kill Bill's Gogo Yubar, stars in a commercial for Resident Evil 5 - otherwise known as Biohazard in Japan.  The commercial shows some tense moments as Chiaki fights off the infected horde in the game.  Just when it looks like all hope is lost, she realizes she has her partner by her side - an obvious nod to the games strong cooperative core.

50 Cent seems to be worth a lot more than his name suggests. After all he's dabbled in everything from rap and Hip-hop music, to books, to movies, and to our pleasant surprise, co-op video games. Now, he's taking on the project of...Video game movies?

Joystiq posted a tip earlier this week about denial of service attacks occuring on Xbox Live. BBC News has the full scoop, reporting that more and more people are being maliciously booted from Live recently, probably thanks to packet flood tools that are being shared by hackers.

This week's co-op session was a bit different.  With family over my house for my birthday party, my 5 year old nephew caught a glimpse of Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection sitting on my coffee table.  This of course meant he wanted to play it - and he wanted to play the games in co-op too!

After Mondays top secret announcement trailer, Capcom has finally come clean on the details of Lost Planet 2 as well as released the first official screenshots. 

Capcom's unique puzzler is coming in early April, as Flock hits the PC, Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network.
