Three New Gameplay Videos for X-Morph: Defense

EXOR Studios' next title, X-Morph: Defense, is still on its way at some point this year, bringing with it the thrill of not only shmups but also building towers to defend against waves of enemies. The last time we checked in, we got to see some of the local co-op in action. This time we're looking at some of the enemy behavior and graphic effects, as well as just how intense the combat can get.

Styx: Shards Of Darkness Adds Co-Op Save Function

Released back in March of this year, Styx: Shards of Darkness was a cause for delight around these parts due to its inclusion of two player online co-op.  Its predecessor was already held in high regard, so co-op fans were understandably excited for a chance to experience the stealth-focused game with a friend.  One thing seemed to be holding it back, though - a lack of multiplayer save functionality.

Closed beta on May 11th with Steam Early Access Release on May 18th

Hacktag Closed Beta and Steam Early Access Dates Announced

Piece of Cake Studios has announced that Hacktag, their asymmetrical, 2-player co-op stealth puzzle game, will be hitting Steam Early Access on May 18th. To kick things off, a closed beta is scheduled for May 11th to give curious players a chance to experience the game for themselves. Registration for the beta is currently open (you can sign up on their website).

Cooperative Zombie Campaign Mode Announced for Call of Duty: WWII

Sledgehammer Games' hour-long reveal stream yesterday showed off the newest Call of Duty title, Call of Duty: WWII. Much of that time was spent discussing the single-player campaign and multiplayer with a, "oh yeah, bee-tee-dubs" towards the end that mentioned the existence of a cooperative campaign with Nazi zombies.
