In which Shattered Haven is discussed and what's next for Arcen

Indie-Ana Co-Op - Q and A with Arcen Games, Part 2

In part one of our interview with Chris Park, Founder/CEO/Lead Programmer/Lead Designer of Arcen Games, we discussed Arcen's unique approach to game design and development; specifically, how none of their games can really be classified by one genre but are an amalgam of different concepts and mechanics. We then discussed one of their recent releases, A Valley Without Wind 2. In part two of the interview, we turn our focus to Shattered Haven and what lies ahead.

Defiance Co-Op Review

We don't normally give the full review treatment to MMOs around these parts, but Defiance's simultaneous multiplatform release and promise of an open-world shooter has grabbed our attention. Indie-Ana Co-Op - Q and A with Arcen Games, Part 1

It has been over 3 years since the last time we spoke with Arcen Games and its founder, Chris Park. In that amount of time, many developers would have released another game, maybe two. We speak with Chris about one of his latest releases, AVWW2, as well what drives Arcen.

From beatdown to horde

Orion: Dino Horde Updates Original Game

Chances are you are not alone if you haven't heard of Orion: Dino Beatdown. A budgeted PC title that was released last year, Orion is a class-based cooperative game in which you survive hordes of dinosaurs using high tech weaponry. You can team up with up to four other players online to duke it out with prehistoric monstrosities. Sounds fun and different, right? Well, sad to say, we did not enjoy the game very much at all, giving it a very low score. Certainly the game was not recommended for play. To check out our review, take a look here.
