Co-Op Rumor: Call of Duty Ghosts to Have "Some Form of Co-Op"

The Call of Duty franchise has featured quite a bit of co-op over the past few years, starting in earnest with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2's "Special Ops" mode. The various offshoots and separate titles that followed continued to feature a co-op mode, whether it was "Spec Ops" or zombie-related, so it would seem only natural for Infinity Ward's next-gen title, Call of Duty: Ghosts, to include it too, right? Microsoft Unveils the Xbox One

Microsoft has officially unveiled their next generation console which will launch later this year. It's called the Xbox One  - bucking the trend of sequential numbering or the rumored Xbox 720, Xbox Infinity, and everything else. The one hour presentation focused on the console itself and the entertainment, architecture and partnerships around it. Perhaps we are seeing the end of the term "videogame console" as there wasn't a single game to be found until 32 minutes into the presentation.

Call of Duty: Ghosts to be Unveiled with Next Generation Xbox on May 21st

Activision has unveiled the next game in the Call of Duty franchise, or rather, they have unveiled when the full unveiling of it will be. The game is called Call of Duty: Ghosts and is being billed as a new subset of the franchise breaking away from the Modern Warfare and Black Ops storyline and characters. Everything will be unveiled on May 21st when Microsoft reveals their next generation console at an event in Redmond, Washington.
