And with it comes a full co-op campaign!

Surprise! The First Mario And Rabbids Kingdom Battle DLC Is Out

Mario and Rabbids Kingdom Battle is a match made in heaven, if heaven was some sort of madman's laboratory in France.  Despite a bit of understandable confusion when the game was first announced, it was met with delight when it released back in August.  Between the tight "X-COM lite" gameplay and playful interpretation of the Mario universe, there was a lot to love.

There Will Be Post-Launch Content for Mario and Rabbids Kingdom Battle

Mario and his Rabbid friends will be duking it out XCom style with a bunch of evil Rabbids next Tuesday in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, and yesterday Ubisoft just revealed plans for some additional content that will be arriving after its release. The good news is that there will be additional co-op challenges as part of all this.

Gameplay Footage of the Co-Op Challenge in Mario and Rabbids Kingdom Battle

Ubisoft's venture into the world of Mario took us all a little bit by surprise when it was finally unveiled at this year's E3. The rumors and leaks prior to the event had many wondering what Nintendo was thinking, but seeing Mario and Rabbids Kingdom Battle in action eased many of those anxieties. We only got a little tease of the co-op mode at that time, but now, a new gameplay video provides the pertinent details.

Launch Video for Rabbids: Alive and Kicking Features Interspecies Debauchery

This Rabbids: Alive and Kicking trailer begins with a truly horrifying scene.  Clearly, animated monstrosities have invaded these peoples homes, had their way with them, and are now holding them against their will.  The doomed foursome tries to fight back, but to no avail.  These people are obviously under the influence of a weapons-grade hallucinogen.  Now they are forced to perform bizarre tasks like animals in some deviant ringmaster's circus.  This is a family game?  As I said before, what the hell is wrong with you people?

The new trailer for Rabbids: Alive and Kicking highlights some of the 4 player co-op mingames.

Four People Have Never Looked So Cool than in this Rabbids Trailer

Joining a band, becoming a member of the Jamaican Bobsleigh Team, Performing the Y.M.C.A., and surviving the zombie hordes in Left 4 Dead: these are just some of the ways to look super awesome as a foursome.  As of 8th November, we can add playing Rabbids: Alive and Kicking on 360 Kinect to this list.  A new trailer highlights some of the 4 player minigames on offer and they look too cool for school (Co-Optimus does not endorse skipping classes - stay in school kids).

The Rabbids are back! Yet again! Seriously - these guys don't quit. Once a surprisingly fun phenomenon that made the Nintendo Wii worth playing, they're invading the Xbox 360 Kinect this November with Rabbids: Alive & Kicking. Augmented reality gimmicks and classic Rabbids humor abound, it looks like up to four players will be able to take part in party-oriented minigames.
