The Balance, Inc's giant mech fighting game, Override: Mech City Brawl, is out today for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. There's a single-player campaign and you can duke it out 1 v 1 against another human, or you can gather three of your best friends and make like you're out to defeat the Galra Emprie as you each control part of a giant mech in the Party Co-Op mode.
Get ready to blast some aliens with a pirate, a ninja, or a viking in Blast Brawl 2: Bloody Boogaloo. This twitch-based fighting game hits Steam Early Access and Xbox Game Preview on the Xbox One this Wednesday, October 26.
Back in the mid to late 1980s, Namco released Battle City. The game can be described as "one of those tank fighting games". Seems like there were a lot of them back then, doesn't it? Anyway, Battle City held its own and eventually became a classic. Which is why a couple of indie devs have just released a modern re-imagining of the game for PC.
In Space We Brawl is a twin stick shooter meets brawling game by developer Forge Reply. While the game supports up to 4 players competitively, two players can also form a team to go up against a team of two bots for some 2-player local co-op play. How well does the co-op work? Let’s find out....
Out for a little light arcade dungeoning one evening, are you? Well, if you've got friends, we have bad news to share. They're out to get you. And they have teeth and claws and traps and stuff to help them do it.
The latest Nintendo Direct released has outlined a ton of new and returning features coming to the Wii U verison of Super Smash Bros, 50 big ones to be exact. Minus the narration done by the in-game Announcer, Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U has a bunch of co-op options for up to two players to dive right into.
On a warm September day in Chicago, I was invited to the SteelSeries office to check out their new product lineup for the 2014 holiday. What awaited me were four new Siberia models, each of them completely updated since the days of the v2, and every one ready for my listening pleasure.
With SteelSeries’ massive new lineup of Siberia headsets (see them all), it can be a little challenging to know which pair to choose. Should you go top of the line for the Siberia Elite Prism, or is something a little more modest, like the Siberia RAW Prism better suited to your needs? Lucky for you, I was able to get my hands (and ears) on both the Elite Prism and RAW Prism to test drive them out, and hear everything they bring to the table.
The folks at Forge Reply really like to spend their lunch breaks screaming at and taunting each other. From those sandwich-fueled yelling sessions, In Space We Brawl was born. It's kind of like a twin stick shooter crossed with a beat-em-up game, but because it takes place in space, there's a lot more room to maneuver. Also, no one can hear you scream, so be sure to yell extra loud.
Because fast-paced combat on the ground just isn't exciting enough, Culture Attack Studio's Aces Wild: Manic Brawling Action! is all about fighting in the air. Sure, there's some ground stuff going on, but this martial arts combat game is focused on combat that quite unsensibly defies the laws of gravity.
As of this moment, Legend of Dungeon is available to purchase. The 2.5D sidescrolling roguelike takes a page from old school brawlers like Double Dragon and wraps everything in a moody, dynamically-lit RPG shell, complete with randomly generated content. The result is a challenging and great-looking game that throws everything at you from snakes to crawling things that latch onto your face.
