Just when you thought demos were dead

The Red Solstice 2: Survivors Demo Coming June 16th

Just last week I mentioned to someone that demos "weren't really a thing" anymore. Though I suppose, when you think about it, alphas and betas have taken the place of those. But fret not - because The Red Solstice 2: Survivors is making demos sexy again by having a demo version of the game made available on June 16th. Red Solstice 2: Survivors Arriving This Year, Ironward Interview

Back in 2015, a new Croatian developer released their first title: the survival/tactical strategy game, The Red Solstice. We played a couple times for our weekly Monday night "Let's Play Co-Op" streams, and always had fun even if we died a lot. A couple years ago, they then released a twin-stick shooter set in the same universe, Solstice Chronicles: MIA. They released their first gameplay trailer today to show off what we can expect this time around, and we spoke with Hrvoje Horvatek from Ironward about how this all came about.

Blending the gameplay elements of a tactical strategy game with the atmosphere of a survival horror i...

Don't worry, you'll be acquainted with the insides of a bipedal space-horror soon enough.

Get Acquainted With A Couple Red Solstice Classes Before Its July 9th Release

The more games released about space and the dangers therein, the more I start to wonder if Elon Musk and Co. should maybe focus on exploring more domestic arenas, like IKEA stores or North Dakota.  The Red Solstice, an 8 player tactical co-op shooter coming out of Early Access on July 9th, provides even more reasoning why space just ain't worth it.
