Major Nelson has kindly posted the latest deals this week available on Xbox Live for subscribing Gold Members. It's a lengthy list, and one that's dominated by cooperative titles both big and small. Our personal pick would be to snag Dead Island: Definitive Edition for just $10 on Xbox One.

We at Co-Optimus love co-op, but you would think from looking at Microsoft's Games With Gold program that they too love a bit of co-op action.  There have been loads of co-op games downloadable over the months and December 2015 is no different, but this time there are 5 games - 4 of which are co-op!

Let's start out by talking about what Sacred 3 is not. That is to say, it's not an open-world loot-driven adventure like its predecessors. After seemingly disappearing for years, a certain game has blasted back onto the scene for an almost surprise release this week. We've been playing it for the past week or so and will have our review posted today. As far as we can tell, that's it for co-op games this week.

Sacred 3 is out now, and while the game isn't like the traditional open world Action/RPGs before it, it's still a pretty fun arcade co-op experience. It's an extremely co-op flexible game with quite a few options for players to maximize their teamwork. Here's some of the common questions answered for you.

Even though Sacred 3 launches in just two week, Deep Silver has revealed yet another CGI trailer for the game. The "Fighter CGI Trailer" is meant to focus on the co-operative aspect of the game, increasing your kill counts as a mini competition between players.

Looks like the long, long development for Sacred 3 is finally coming to an end. It's felt like ages since we had some hands-on lovin' for the game at PAX 2012, and now we'll have a chance to play it for reals. Expect to wrap up your summer hacking and slashing bad dudes all the way across Ancaria. Deep Silver has announced Sacred 3 will drop for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 on August 5th of this year. 

In a gameplay reveal trailer released this week, Deep Silver has announced the release date to Sacred 3. North America will be able to get their hands on Sacred 3 August 26 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. 

After a lengthy development, Sacred 3 is aiming for a release date in the summer of this year. Hacking its way onto Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC, the dungeon romper features drop in and drop out co-op featuring four classes from the previous games (Seraphim, Ancarian, Khukuhru, and Safiri), and a class making their big time debut in this third installment, the Malakhim. Contrary to previous reports, the game will continue its legacy by having two player local co-op, as well as four player online.

Sacred 2: Fallen Angel was a co-op darling around the Co-Optimus community.  The Action/RPG provided a rich campaign with plenty of character classes, loot, and a variety of massive environments to experience it in.  The game did well critically and most likely financially, so there's no surprise that a sequel is in the works.  We sat in for a live co-op demo of Sacred 3 at PAX this past weekend and came away quite surprised as to where the series appears to be heading.
