[E3 2015] Play 360 Titles on Your Xbox One, New Xbox One Controller

When the newest generation of consoles debuted at E3 two years ago, one of the biggest gripes players had about them was that previous titles were not supported. Sony eventually revealed PlayStation Now, a kind of rental/streaming service for older titles. Today, Microsoft went one step further and announced that the Xbox One will fully support 360 titles natively.

Dead Island and Toy Soldiers: Cold War Free on Games With Gold This Month

According to Xbox Live's resident Guru Major Nelson, Dead Island (normally $19.99) and Toy Soldiers: Cold War (normally $14.99) are available this month, free of charge, for any Games with Gold members. Games with Gold is Xbox Live's response to PlaystationPlus , offering free titles to any subscribers. True, PlaystationPlus does normally give access to a greater range of games, but two free games a month ain't so bad.

Toy Soldiers: Cold War Launches Two Pieces of DLC and a PC Version

The folks at Signal Studios are releasing not one, but two DLC packs for the action/tower defense game Toy Soldiers: Cold War.  It's a game we scored quite well calling it an "absolute blast" as we played through almost the entire campaign in a 5 hour couch co-op session.  Now after a long wait since the last DLC, we're finally getting some new content to dig our little plastic soldiers into.

New Toy Soldiers Cold War Trailer Flaunts AC130

The latest teaser from Toy Soldiers: Cold War shows the result of a pair of weapons manufacturers' drunken ramblings.  A fella from Lockheed and a guy from General Electric must have been sitting around in a bar in the early sixties, both high on peyote and social upheaval.  One was pondering what to do with his giant air plane, another was trying to figure out how to make a six-barrel-electrified machine gun more ri-god-damn-diculous.  After a few more beers, one put his chocolate in the other's peanut butter, and the AC 130 was born.  It's basically a bunch of mini-guns and Vulcan cannons duct taped to the side of a plane, book ended by Howitzers for good measure.  Check out the video and enjoy!

New 'Commando' Trailer for Toy Soldiers: Cold War

It's about to get 80's up in here!  This new trailer for Toy Soldiers: Cold War is lovingly dipped in some Stallone/Schwarzenegger juices.  Wait, that sounded better in my head.  Actually, now it sounds worse.  Far, far worse.  Horrifying, even...  I wonder if they'll have a "Rambo" character that looks like John Matrix.  I hope so.  There's not much else here, other than the Commando dishing out some Cold War pain.  Now go watch Over the Top!
