Hard Corps: Uprising is kicking off th Xbox LIVE Arcade House Party this winter. To celebrate, Konami has a brand new trailer featuring Kenji Yamamoto, the producer of the game, in full house party regalia. Which in this case, is a party hat and one of those noise makers everybody hates. The video is chock-full of co-op action.
Hard Corps: Uprising is another sequel in a long line of Contra games, sans the "Contra" title. The graphics may have changed, but the gameplay looks the same, which is not a bad thing for a Contra game. You can play with a buddy on the couch, a stranger online, a buddy online, or even a stranger on your couch (not recommended without a background check). That's right, two player local and online co-op are both supported. The game is set for a February 16th release date for the Xbox LIVE Arcade, and a date to be determined for the PlayStation Network.
