With all the good stuff from the first one; added guns, characters, grenades and so forth; and added splitscreen online (I hope that's still the case). This is easily my most anticipated game this year (yes, even more than Diablo III).

I'm glad to see that it's still coming out this year...hopefully the same is true for Colonial Marines.

I was happy to see the four characters finally (don't know if the last two had been revealed previously...if they were I missed it) though I wasn't as impressed with them. Axton looks to be similar to Roland (with the turret and soldier-esque appearance) and Zero definitely reminded me of Mordaci with the sword and just general build. I was really, REALLY hoping for one of the characters to be a wereskag, but I guess that ain't happening.

I'm still super-psyced for this and it will definitely be a day-one purchase for me. When the time gets closer I'll find out who offers the best pre-order deals and go that route.

Pre-ordering is a definate must for me here....

I too was praying for a wereskag character, I had a sinking feeling that it was too much to ask for though. I preordered this so long ago that I cna't evne remember when it was, probly the day it was reserveable cuz I hnag at gamestop and chat with my friends there at least like once a week during my errand day.

I'm sure it comes as no suprise that i'm going to get this and rock it hard core. I'm pretty sure that i'm going to begin with Zero, then axton, salvator and then maya. It's gonna take me forever to just do walkthrough one ciuz i poek around like crazy and it's probly one of the reasons I'm the best Borderlands player I know lol

I thought they were ditching the 'bazillion random guns' model and allowing the player to customise and improve the base build of guns? Was looking forward to being able to customise my weapons instead of looking for random drops/purchases from vending machines for better guns.

I'm pretty sure I read you can customize guns after you pick them up, but that was a while ago. Not sure if that still hold true.

That's partaly true, eridian can be used as currency or to upgrade weapons if memory serves correct
