Oh boy, more Borderlands 2 content! Just what I need, another reason to add to the 212 hours I've spent on Pandora - and that's NOT counting the first Borderlands. Okay, Gearbox, let's see if your hellborn, bloodlusting, maniac can tempt me back to the land of Bandits and Bullymongs. It's time to take Kreig the Psycho for a thrill kill joyride.
The final Borderlands 2 DLC will be here very soon, which is sort of a sad thing to hear for us Co-Optimus folk. We’re excited to see that Gearbox has revealed a very small taste of what is to come out of “Tiny Tina’s Assault On Dragon Keep” coming later in June.
It is only one day until any Borderlands 2 player willing to drop $9.99/800MSPs will get to meet the new Psycho character, Krieg. He is lean, mean and ultra-keen to cleave you in two. This new video highlights some of the skills that Krieg brings to the band of Vault Hunters - they mostly consist of the ability to run straight at the enemy and take a Bullymong of damage.
The next, and most likely final, pieces of Borderlands 2 DLC have been announced, dated, and priced. The sixth playable character is named Krieg the Psycho Bandit. Krieg wil be released on May 14 for $9.99. Unfortunately for those of you who own the Borderlands 2 Season Pass, Krieg will not be offered for free. Just like Gaige the Mechromancer before him, Krieg will have to be purchased as a stand alone character in the "Psycho Pack" DLC.
If you're one of the Mac owners out there who purchased Borderlands 2 from the Mac App Store, you've probably noticed a few key features have been, well, almost completely missing. Aspyr Media is here to save the day with a brand new patch that brings things (mostly) up to speed, including achievements, a handful of miscellaneous fixes, and access to leaderboards, all through the safe little garden that is the Mac App Store.
By now you've heard the news about the new character coming to Borderlands 2 and the bump in the level cap. The Psycho Bandit Krieg won't be arriving until May, but the "Ultimate Vault Hunter Pack" is dropping next week. A title update will accompany the upgrade, adding a few new items to the Black Market.
Today Gearbox took the wraps off the previously hinted at piece of content for Borderlands 2. The DLC is called The Psycho Pack and will costs $9.99. It features a brand new vault hunter named Krieg for players to take control of. In addition to the new character Gearbox announced the level cap would be increased to 61 in early April as part of the Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack.
It doesn’t matter if you’ve descended from Irish or not, Borderlands 2 will make your St. Patty’s day all the more meaningful. From now until Sunday night, players can use the “Luck of the Zafords” event to increase chances of rare loot being dropped and grab some free green gear.
The world of computer game journalism is a slick place full of the latest multimedia and snazzy events. Or is it? Sometimes it’s a bloke with a camcorder filming a screen during a SXSW event. The excitement for this new trailer does not come from the slightly odd angle, but the fact it is a video teasing an upcoming vault hunter for Borderlands 2.
Gearbox dropped the word that some of their most beloved characters would be making an appearance as selectable skins in Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition’s next Skin Pack DLC. For some wanting to see the Borderlands 2 and Minecraft connection come full-circle, here is your chance to own it.
2012 what a year! I'm just happy that the world didn't end; the plethora of great games available via the Playstation Network was simply a bonus. The likes of Journey, Tokyo Jungle and Borderlands 2 were downloadable straight onto your hard drive. Which was the best? You can vote on Sony's site today and help decide which games get reduced for a week. Get involved and make them co-op!
Mac owners can finally get their fill of shooting witch doctors and nodding approvingly at the sturdy mustache of a certain professor. Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt, the third DLC campaign for Borderlands 2, has just been released for Mac and is available to purchase via Steam for $9.99. Huzzah and such!
There is no doubt about it: the Borderlands 2 community wants a level cap increase, and they want it now. Unfortunately for them, this will most likely not be included in any future Borderlands 2 updates and for very good reasons.
If you're co-op gaming consists solely on the couch and your internet connection is provided by carrier pigeon, we've got something today just for you. It's called the Borderlands 2 Add-On Content Pack and will be available on February 26th.
Admit it, you saw this coming from a mile away. With all the cool (and not-so-cool) player skins available for the five classes in Borderlands 2, it was only a matter of time before Gearbox started charging us for some super-cool new heads and threads. Gearbox just announced 15 new player skin and head combinations. That's three for each character, if it's too early in the day for you to math.
