Oh, the Places You'll Go... In Conduit 2

Yup, Conduit 2 still isn't out yet; however, things are still looking good for its newest release date, April 19th. This game has suffered a good number of delays, but if it's in the name of the multiplayer, that's fine by us. To tide us over, High Voltage has released a trailer of a bunch of the locations players will visit in the game. Whereas the first game had you mostly confined to the area of Washington D.C., its sequel will provide a large variety of locations to tickle your fancy.

New Conduit 2 Teaser

The Conduit 2 is coming out for the Nintendo Wii on March 1, 2011.  This new teaser showcases some of the locales from the game before exploding into fast-paced action.  The graphics look dated, even for a Wii title, but shiny graphics are not the end all be all when it comes to gaming.  The Conduit 2 will have a four player survival mode where players can team up locally to battle waves of enemies.  Not incredibly original, but hey, take your co-op shooting when you can get it on the Wii.  Be sure to watch the video all the way to the end. That's where the magic happens.

E3 2010 - The Conduit 2 Hands-Off Preview

As Kat pointed out earlier in the week, The Conduit 2 is doing a lot for a sequel to a game that many considered the first succesful first-person shooter on the Wii.  Among these additions is the inclusion of a new co-op mode where up to four players will fight off waves of enemies, and is now confirmed as being playable either locally or online over the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.  Nick and I had a chance to see a hands-off demo of the game at E3, and while the multiplayer/co-op modes weren't being discussed (a running theme for many of our appointments, it felt like), we did walk away with some pretty favorable overall impressions of what we saw.

E3 2010 Conduit 2 Shows Us Guns

Last years release of a Wii on-rails shooter sans co-op baffled us in The Conduit. It was the first time in ages a game with such co-op capabilities left us without a player 2. It would appear Sega learned from their mistake, unleashing The Conduit 2 complete with co-op, and a supposedly revolutionary online multiplayer system. This will be the first time a company has made such a claim for Wii's online capabilities, but we're certainly ready to hear more.
