You may have remembered in the middle of last year, June to be exact, when LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes was released. It came out for virtually every console at the time, including an Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Wii, PC, Playstation Vita, and 3DS version. The iterations of the game that featured the most content to explore were the console versions. Well, Warner Bros. Interactive has announced that they will be releasing the same game for the Wii U this spring, at least in Europe. We expect a North American release to follow suit.
New DLC is available now for LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes. The two new packs will each add five characters to the already massive roster. You'll be able to use these new super heroes or villains in the game's Freeplay mode. The Heroes Pack includes Nightwing, Katana, Shazam, Zatanna, and Bruce Wayne's son, Damian Wayne, as the new Robin. The Villains Pack features Bizzaro, Captain Cold, Black Adam, Black Manta, and Gorilla Grodd.

Today we can confirm what was once just a rumor - LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes is in development and expands the cast of characters significantly. The game will feature Batman, Robin and other DC Heroes characters like Superman, Wonder Woman, and the Green Lantern. Maybe hey should just call it LEGO Justice League?
As a superhero, Batman is a bit of a loner. Except for Alfred. And Robin. And Batgirl, Oracle, Commissioner Gordon, the Justice League. It appears that Batman is no loner at all, he loves to be surrounded by friends and family (as long as he has an up to date dossier of how to destroy them should they turn rogue). A new image suggests that LEGO Batman is no different and that LEGO Batman 2 may contain more DC heroes than any one supervillain can handle.
