[E3 2015] The Crew's First Expansion Is Drifting In This November

Right in the middle of Ubisoft's E3 conference, somewhere between Aisha Tyler's meme jokes and new South Park footage, we learned that The Crew is getting its first full expansion.  Dubbed "Wild Run", it'll be diving into the more niche areas of car culture by introducing new events and vehicle types.  As is apparently tradition at this year's E3, it'll be coming out this November, specifically the 17th.

The Crew Gets Its Final Themed DLC With The "Raid"

The "Raid" is finally coming to The Crew!  Unfortunately, this isn't a tie-in to the movie sharing the same name, a la Forza Horizon 2's "Fast & Furious", but how cool would that be?  Even if I didn't get to control them, I would pay good money to see two Indonesian dudes' gunfight eventually turn into a full bout of fisticuffs on top of my Volkswagen.

Maybe not quite as extreme as last time.

Patch 3 For The Crew Out Now

While the previous update indicated that The Crew's players would be leading an exhilarating, no-holds-barred lifestyle from here on out, the patch released yesterday is reeling in the excitement and focusing on more domestic issues.  It's sort of like when you've made up your mind and moved to the Himalayas to lead a life of adventure as a mountain guide, but then you get to your cabin and realize you forgot to buy groceries.

I'm told it has something to do with living life cautiously.

The Crew's First DLC Pack Is Out Now

Ubisoft, developers of The Crew, had a rough 2014.  I'm not one to make musical comparisons, but I'd be willing to bet that more than a couple employees over there considered "This Year" by The Mountain Goats to be their anthem by December 31st.  Nevertheless, they survived the year and even managed to eke out a GOTY contender, Far Cry 4, in the process.  If history is at all predictive, 2015 should be the year of their redemption, and a portion of that redemption should come in the form of DLC releases for their 2014 titles.

Ubisoft Puts the Brakes on The Crew until December

Bad news for co-op racing fans, The Crew has been pushed back to a December 2nd release. But hey, it's not all bad. The reason for the delay? Feedback from the betas. That's right, the developers at Ivory Tower and Ubisoft Reflections listened to your feedback and are taking a few more weeks to work on the game. From the Ubiblog:
