Our ININ Xbox Giveaway Has Ended! Winners Announced

It's always good news when a publisher brings its games to new platforms, especially when that publisher has lots of cool games to offer. German publisher ININ is known to publish a lot of great Japanese games on modern consoles, and they've just released a whopping six of their titles on Xbox. To celebrate, we're giving out four copies each of four of ININ's Xbox releases - that's 16 prizes in total! Update: The contest has ended! See winners at the bottom of this page.

Clockwork Aquario Finally Coming to Xbox This Week Along With More Games From ININ

Way back in January of 2022, German publisher ININ Games announced that it would be releasing Clockwork Aquario on Xbox. 23 months then passed with no release in sight, so we thought the game had been quietly canceled. Amazingly, though, Clockwork Aquario is actually coming out on December 7! What's more, ININ is also releasing Pocky & Rocky Reshrined (also co-op), Cotton 100%Panorama Cotton, Ultracore, and Irem Collection Vol. 1 on Xbox on the same date!

The recently resurrected co-op platformer is heading to Xbox and Steam.

ININ Games' First Xbox Release Will Be Clockwork Aquario

Xbox has always been a great platform, and many gamers favor the Xbox Series X in this console generation. That said, Xbox consoles have always suffered from weaker support from Japanese developers when compared to PlayStation and Nintendo systems. That's one reason that ININ Games' upcoming Xbox and Steam port of Clockwork Aquario is so exciting. The classic-style arcade platformer features 2-player local co-op and will be ININ's first Xbox release on Xbox.

Save the world of Aquario in this long-lost but newly revived platformer.

Clockwork Aquario Co-Op Review

Upon the arrival of the 32-bit era of gaming, the 2D games that had dominated the games industry began to disappear in favor of 3D games. One casualty of this shift was Clockwork Aquario, a 2D arcade game from the creators of the Wonder Boy series, Westone. The gorgeous platformer was canceled before completion and thought lost to time. Fast-forwar...

Clockwork Aquario Scores a World Record Ahead of North American Launch

Clockwork Aquario, the long-lost arcade game from the studio that created the Wonder Boy games, launches on PlayStation and Switch in North America this week (it's already out in Europe). The game's extremely long delay has actually qualified it for a world record, which is fairly amazing. World records aside, Clockwork Aquario, which ...

Gamers finally have a chance to play this lost co-op classic.

Clockwork Aquario Now Available in Europe, Coming Soon to North America

Before closing its doors in 2014, Japanese developer Westone created the Wonder Boy series, the Sega CD co-op classic Dungeon Explorer, and many more games. Westone’s last title, the co-op platformer Clockwork Aquario, never made it to arcades and was thought lost for many years. Thankfully, ININ Games recently uncovered and completed the gam...

HyperX Alloy Origins Mechanical Gaming Keyboard (with Aqua Switches) Review

Last October, I reviewed the HyperX Alloy Origins Mechanical Gaming Keyboard (with Red/Linear switches) and had a lot of great things to say about it. Metal Slug XX and Aqua Join Xbox Live Arcade Co-Op Titles This Week

As we correctly guessed, Metal Slug XX will be released this week on Xbox Live Arcade.  The 1200  title features two player local and online co-op play with six different characters to choose from.  The same game has been available on the Nintendo DS as Metal Slug 7, which didn't include co-op play.  A PSP version was released last year as Metal Slug XX and added that feature in, but now we're getting the complete package with offline and online co-op.
