At last, co-op tank action for the masses

Battlezone: Gold Edition Co-Op Impressions

Two years ago, Rebellion revived the classic tank shooter Battlezone as a cooperative virtual reality game. While our own Nick Puleo considered it a quality (if overpriced) co-op game, players without VR headsets always had to sit things out. Now Battlezone: Gold Edition has arrived on console and PC without the need for VR, and we’ve got full co-op impressions to go with it.

Steredenn: Binary Stars Update Brings Local Co-Op Shooting to Xbox One and Steam

Steredenn is a shoot ‘em up with Roguelike elements released way back in 2015. It has always been a single-player shooter, but that recently changed with the free ‘Binary Stars’ update. Divinity: Original Sin 2 Early Access Co-Op Impressions

In Divinity: Original Sin, players embarked upon a grand journey with a friend, shaping their in-game avatars’ personalities and traits through their actions and dialogue choices. Larian Studios seems to have grander ambitions with Divinity: Original Sin 2, but that ambition can be a double-edged sword as it’s currently unclear whether they’ve improved upon the original game’s formula.

Borderlands 2 Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep Co-Op Impressions

I feel like I stepped into an entirely new world apart from the chaotic Pandora. Technically this is true, since Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep, the latest DLC for Borderlands 2,  takes place in a “Dungeons & Dragons” inspired fantasy game controlled and narrated by Tiny Tina. Anyone who’s encountered Tina before knows how insane she is, but all the more hilarious than practically anyone in the entire game.
