Borderlands 2 Patch for Mac Adds DLC and Co-Op Play

If you're one of the Mac owners out there who purchased Borderlands 2 from the Mac App Store, you've probably noticed a few key features have been, well, almost completely missing. Aspyr Media is here to save the day with a brand new patch that brings things (mostly) up to speed, including achievements, a handful of miscellaneous fixes, and access to leaderboards, all through the safe little garden that is the Mac App Store.

Harvesting virtual crops > harvesting real crops

Farming Simulator 2013 Heading to Xbox 360, PS3 This Fall

You know you want it. Come on, you really do. All those hours spent playing Harvest Moon, wishing it were just the teensiest bit more realistic. And let's be honest, your most impressive Minecraft map is basically an automated wheat-producing machine. Time to drop the act and pick up a real man's farming game: Farming Simulator 2013. And we're only slightly joking when we make that statement.

Touch each other. Seriously.

Spin the Bottle Coming Soon to the Wii U

A new party game is coming to the Wii U this May. Spin the Bottle will allow up to eight players to spin a virtual bottle and touch each other inappropriately. Fun! You need a Wii U game pad and two Wii remotes to play. How's this for a spin? You don't need a TV display, so it will be easy to play this game anywhere around the house, including the family room, the dining room, or your alternative lifestyle role-playing area.  As long as the game pad and the Wii U can still whisper sweet nothings to each other, you're in business. (They have to stay connected.)

Wii U owners can stop expecting the latest Aliens game

Aliens: Colonial Marines Officially Cancelled for Wii U

In news that probably shocks no one, Sega has officially confirmed that the Wii U version of Aliens: Colonial Marines is no longer in development. The latest Aliens game, developed by Gearbox and published by Sega, came out mid February of this year on PS3, 360, and PC; however, the promised Wii U version was conspicuously absent from Q1 2013. There was no comment by Sega or Demiurge (the developer in charge of the Wii U port) then about its absence, leading to speculation about the port's cancellation. Today it's official: there's no plans of it ever happening.

We'll take just about any opportunity we get to relive a slice or two of retro goodness. When something like Retro Groupee comes along, it's almost too much nostalgia to handle. The pay what you want bundle features half a dozen indie games, each of which is steeped in old school style in one way or another. Bonuses are unlocked after a certain number of bundles have been sold, and at the time of writing almost all of the extras have been unleashed to the buying public.
