Good news if you live in the U.S. or Asia and haven't gotten your fill of Dark Souls yet. Bandai Namco announced at Gamescom that a special Dark Souls Trilogy bundle will be released on October 19, 2018 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The bundle includes the recent Dark Souls: Remastered release,  as well as the Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin, and Dark Souls III: The Fire Fades editions, meaning you get all the DLC for all the games. The Definitive Version of our 2014 Game of the Year

Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin Impressions

We're big fans of the Souls games here at Co-Optimus, as evidenced by our glowing reviews of the series so far, so when a copy of Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin came across my desk, I was more than happy to jump in. With a modified version of the campaign, all DLC included, and a graphical upgrade (for the PC and current-gen consoles, anyway), it's much more than a simple HD remaster; it might just be the best way to experience the game.

Abandon Hope With The Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin Trailer

The definitive edition of our 2014 AAA Game of the Year lurks on the horizon, as Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin readies for its April 7th North American launch date. Plunking down your hard earned cash for a game (and potentially DLC) you've already purchased might leave you a little bit sour, but some may its find worth it to relive the sweet, sweet pain on current gen consoles.

The Co-Op Games of 2015 Preview

2015 looks to be the first solid year in a while for co-op gamers. The Xbox One and PS4 have hit their stride and the PC continues to excel. Congratulations to Dark Souls 2 for taking home the 2014 Golden Fitty award for Best AAA Game here at Co-Optimus. Our favorite game of last year is getting a bit of a face lift with The Scholar of the First Sin edition, due out on Xbox One, 360, PS3, PS4, and PC sometime this April. Packing in all three DLC's, as well as some new goodies, this definitive issue of DSII is being primed to totally wreck us and our brave undead cohorts with a new patch launching on February 5th.

The 2014 Co-Op Game of the Year Awards

It's time once again for our Co-Op Game of the Year Awards. We look back at 2014 as a fairly mediocre year in terms of co-op game. While we had high hopes for many games, there were no true must have stand-outs. That's not to say there weren't some great games, it's just compared to previous years this one seems slightly more forget...
