Red Barton And the Sky Pirates Bring Star Fox Like Action to WWI

The style of game that Nintendo's Star Fox or Sega's After Burner has all but been lost. Thankfully some indie developers have been picking up the slack where the AAA devs have left a whole. Red Barton and the Sky Pirates looks like a stylish, kid friendly flight game where you're in control of a bi-place shooting down enemies from the sky set in WWI in the realm of the aforementioned Sega and Nintendo classics.

New Trailer for Lego Pirates of the Caribbean

Summer is coming, and that means blockbuster movies and their gaming counterparts.  Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean series is getting a fourth installment in May 20th.  Lego Pirates of the Caribbean will release ten days earlier, on May 10th.  The Lego adaptation will cover events from all four films.  This latest trailer focuses on the third film, At World's End, and then segues into the latest movie, On Stranger Tides.  You can even get a glimpse of the split screen co-op in action.  If you listen closely you can hear the horn from The Duke of Hazzard's 'General Lee'.  I hope that's in the movie.

Two New Lego Trailers Featuring Pirates and Clones

The prolific Lego titles are at it again.  Today we have two new videos from Traveller's Tales, the makers of the Lego games.  The first video is a preview of the new Lego Pirates of the Caribbean game.  The title will cover all four movies, and it is set to release May 13th, around the same time as the fourth film On Stranger Tides. The second trailer is a cut scene from the upcoming Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars, which should be out March 22nd.  You can check out a demo on Xbox LIVE. It appears the games will have the same sense of humor that has helped them appeal to gamers of all ages.  Both Lego titles should be available on every major system, as well as support two player co-op.
