Grim Dawn's Future is Looking Bright

It's been over six months since we've heard much from Crate Entertainment on Grim Dawn, their Action/RPG that's a spiritual successor to Titan Quest.  If you haven't kept up with the official site you'd be missing out on some new screenshots from the game - and the latest batch is looking quite impressive.

Trine Goes 3D, Adds Free DLC Level

How appropriate that a game based on using three unique heroes would naturally want to take the leap into the third dimension!  A new patch has been released for the PC version of Trine.  Lucky owners of the Nvidia 3D Vision setup will now be able to slash, levitate, and grapple their way through all manner of puzzling obstacles in three dimensional glory.  I'm not a huge fan of the whole 3D renaissance, but certainly the lovely graphics of Trine would be good candidates for such treatment.

Valkyria Chronicles II Demo Available on PSN Today

Valkyria Chronicles was released for the Playstation 3 a couple years ago, enhancing the turn based RPG formula with 3rd person action elements and an impressive visual style.  The game is thought rather highly of; I know our own resident artist, Mike, is a big fan.  Coming later this month is Valkyria Chronicles II, which will be released for the PS3's smaller, more portable sibling, the PSP.

Modern Warfare 2 Glitch Grants Free SNK Games Including Metal Slug

Now here's an odd one for you.  There's a glitch in the full and demo version of Modern Warfare 2, though to be fair, the glitch is really with SNK's Xbox Live Arcade titles - where you get free access to the full version of trial titles from SNK that are installed on your hard drive.  This includes all of SNK's games, including the co-op enabled titles like Metal Slug 3 and Metal Slug XX.

Kane and Lynch 2's Co-Op "Tactics" Explored in Latest Video

Look, this ain't yo mamma's co-op game.  There's no holding hands to pull your buddy up to a higher ledge, no working together because this metal gate is to heavy for Mr. Buffman to lift by himself, and there's definitely no fist bumps.  This is Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days and the co-op tactics consist of shooting guys in the face...together...shooting exploding objects...together...and shooting...well everything...together.

No Kinect-ing in Fable 3 at Launch

We've known for quite some time now that Fable 3 will include Kinect support.  What we haven't known though is just what exactly that entails.  Will we be interacting with Fido like a Kinectimal?  Does our Fable 3 avatar instantly recognize us?  Perhaps there's a chicken kicking mini game with realistic leg swinging action?  Everyone's dream of a couch co-op sex game?  Err... wait, what?
