After our review of Fairytale Fights, you may have been as disappointed as we were with the outcome. Now however, you have the power to decide for yourself if the game is worth while, as Xbox LIVE and the Playstation Network have finally unleashed a demo for Fairytale Fights. While it looks like Take 2 is going to post quite a loss this quarter, the publisher of Gearbox's Borderlands plans to stand behind the franchise calling it an "important" and "long-term" addition to their portfolio. This is good news for the game, one in which a certain analyst thought was sent out to die by the publisher.

Team 17 has announced that their episodic remake of Alien Breed is going to be released on Xbox Live Arcade on December 16th. Alien Breed Evolution is a 2 player co-op title in which players defend themselves against thousands of aliens in twin stick shooter fashion. The cooperative mode is separate from the main game's story, and sounds similar to the many other survival modes out there. Called "Battle Mode" it's playable locally and online.

In the better late than never category comes news that Microsoft's Games for Windows Live service now will offer downloadable versions of LIVE Enabled titles on demand for the service. From the sound of it, as of now, only Games for Windows LIVE enabled titles will be available.

The rumors are true, as the PlayStation Blog has officially confirmed Q-Game's Pixel Junk Shooter will be released on December 10th on the PlayStation Network. The two player local co-op game will cost $9.99 and feature slick 1080p visuals.

Developer Ruffian Games is asking for artistic contributions to the mayhem in Pacific City by holding a competition to create some original graffiti artwork to be plastered on ruined walls around town. There are a few rules and regulations to be considered before starting, and we'd like to add that any Billy artwork entered earns some pretty sweet community points with us.
