It was only just yesterday morning we unveiled Dead Effect 2, released on the PC, and coming soon to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Thanks to the quick response from developer BadFly Interactive, we were able to experience this video game last night on our normal Monday Night Streams.
A couple years ago, developer BadFly Interactive released a sci-fi/horror FPS title, Dead Effect, that wasn't too bad as far as space zombie shooters go. The team has been working ever since on the sequel, Dead Effect 2, to not only improve the overall experience, but to add some cooperative features as well.
When the title first launched on Windows 10, Gears of War: Ultimate Edition had a few problems. The biggest one that outraged the PC Master Race club was having the frame rate capped at just 30 FPS. I mean, what's the point of having a sick rig if games don't look any better than they do on a console?
8-Bit Armies is a solid RTS title that falls into the same vein as older RTS games like Command and Conquer. It forgoes the bells and whistles, i.e., there is no upgrade tree for units/buildings, there's only resource type to collect, in order to provide a more straightforward (and fun!) experience. I'm a huge SHMUP fan, specifically Raiden II is my all time favorite.
