It was just last week we learned that the Xbox One would forgo including a headset in the box for online chat. Instead the system would rely on its Kinect peripheral for your voice chatting needs. For a myriad of reasons this isn't ideal, but perhaps more eye opening is the fact that existing 3rd party headsets would not work with the Xbox One. So we did what any good site would do, we hit up our community.
One of the lures of ARPGs is character specialization via skill point distribution. In the Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing not only can players spec the main character, but companion character Katarina as well. The newest DLC for the game, entitled Blue Blood, adds a whole new skill tree for Katarina.

The Greenlight Supershow kicked off at 10:30 AM EDT this morning with a twitch.tv stream of over 20 different games currently seeking support on the Greenlight service. The list of games, which can be found after the break, includes a number of cooperative titles, including FORCED, Retrobooster, and BroForce. More free Soul Sacrifice DLC dropped this week. I finally pried myself away from the Vita version of Hotline Miami (Beyond Co-Op Review forthcoming) long enough to check it out. I nearly forgot how easy it is to pick up and play Comcept's twisted fantasy game. I jumped in, linked up with some randoms, sacrificed the souls of a few monsters, swiped some Lacrima, and was on my way. Smooth.

Today, we dip our toes back into the pool of cooperative tabletop board games. We've previously delved into the rich Lovecraft universe with an article covering Elder Sign. This one totally slipped under my radar, but I quickly remedied it with an immediate purchase from Steam. Painkiller: Hell & Damnation has received a new set of DLC called Heaven's Above. What does it do? Turns the FPS into a top down co-opable shooter.
The Replacers are here to inform one and all that the Vengeance DLC pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will hit XBLA on July 2nd. The pack will contain 4 new multiplayer maps, but will also include the new Zombie map, Buried, for co-op fans.
