You'll Want these Toys for your Birthday in Ghost Recon Future Soldier

My birthday was just two weeks ago, but it looks like I missed an opportunity for an awesome present.  The latest trailer for Ghost Recon Future Soldier showcases some of the gadgets, gizmos and technology you and your team will have at their disposal.  The center piece is without a doubt the UAV which is now almost pocket sized and can transform into a small ground based vehicle.  Why didn't they have this stuff when I was a kid?

New campaign DLC is coming to Saints Row 3 in the form of The Trouble With Clones

Send in the Clones with the New Saints Row: The Third Campaign DLC

I've often wondered what it would be like to have a clone; someone there to always play co-op with. However, after a while they may get a bit annoying, perhaps try and take over my life?  Clones ain't for me. They are not for Jimmy Torbitson either, he is 'The Saints' biggest fan and is the main focus of some new campaign DLC coming to Saints Row: The Third entitled 'The Trouble with Clones'. For 560 MS Points, or the cash equivalent, you'll get some new story missions, weapons and the chance at 100 more achievement points!

Starhawk's Build and Battle Video Looks Amazing

Did you remember to sign up for Starhawk's multiplayer public beta?  Of course you did.  What kind of forgetful cad would miss out on the totally open beta that began on February 21st?  Now, if you'll excuse me while I wait 28 minutes for this download that has nothing to do with the Starhawk beta --and then wait another hour or so to give me an opportunity to play this totally unrelated game; I'll let you know if you should jump into the Starhawk MP fray...  Until then, why don't you check out this sweet new video!  I have a feeling someone's about  to get Dorothied!

This Week in Co-Op: Syndicate...Like a Boss

In my recent Syndicate review I mentioned a great scenario in which three of us managed to take on a particularly tough level and come out victorious.  The actual scenario turned out to be one of the final levels of the co-op campaign.  The most amazing thing about our victory was that my two partners, Mike and Andrew, were only level 1 or 2 characters with minimal upgrades as they had just gotten the game.  While my level 14 or 15 was nothing to scoff it, it still showcases how balanced Syndicate's co-op can be even with an unbalanced team.

A new teaser site has appeared hinting at a return to the universe of Baldur's Gate

Joy! Is a New Baldur's Gate Incoming?

The Baldur's Gate franchise remains one of my fondest memories of the Playstation 2/Xbox era.  All those years ago I played Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance with my girlfriend in local co-op.  I would be the mighty barbarian rushing into attack; she would be the dwarf being forced to stay at the rear as she always got killed. We are still together, but there has been a Baldur's Gate (BG) sized hole in our lives for a long time - but with the launch of a new teaser site, perhaps our dreams of a BG future will actually happen?
