Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel is out next week on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. I know, it snuck up on me too. If you were looking forward to this bromantic action game filled with explosions, bullets, explosions, and oversized blades (seen above) - well that time is almost here.
There's a playable demo out today for Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The 1.64GB demo gives you a chance to check out the game's two player online or couch co-op action as you drop into the shoes of the two new protagonists - Alpha and Bravo.
We’ve all seen a truck-load of trailers for Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel by now. So when do we actually get to try it out for ourselves? Confirmed by EA, next Tuesday will be our opportunity to try out the game’s co-op demo first hand (hopefully with a partner handy)!
The list of achievements for Army of Two: Devil's Cartel recently dropped and I'll admit, I'm a little disappointed. There's not a single achievement for fist bumping your partner. Not one! What is the world coming to??? Anyways, there are still a few co-op specific achievements that have been revealed amidst the usual overall progression ones. No spoilers in the list, so feel free to peruse away.
Co-Optimus readers have seen their fair share of Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel trailers in the past few weeks, but it is to be expected with the 2 player co-op title due out on the 26th March. The majority of the videos have teased weapons or gameplay mechanics; in this new trailer (via GameTrailers) we get a glimpse into the story and the many explosions that will unfold.
Thus far, we’ve been pretty damn excited to have the explosive Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel co-op action in the palms of our hands. Unfortunately, behind the scenes of the game’s development, things aren’t going that well in terms of employment. Recently, EA confirmed that they let go its entire Visceral Montreal staff after completion of the game.
The next game in the Army of Two series, called Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel is supposed to be somewhat of a reboot. Gone are the characters of Salem and Rios, in their place two new protagonists join the story of mercenaries in masks. After some recent hands on time with the game, fans of the series shouldn't worry about too much of a shift, as I felt right at home playing the two player co-op game.
When Electronic Arts named their series Army of Two, they weren’t kidding around! The special mechanic in their upcoming title, Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel, called “Overkill” can turn the tide of battle and put the hurt on enemies quicker than you can say “Gunzerker”.
The game was Army of Two; the ability was to design your own in-game mask. What better way to make your avatar obvious across a crowded room? Or perhaps, to insult a friend? My mask said "Stu Must Die", a simple message that made our co-op friendship tighter. Thankfully, I shall be able to recreate this famous mask in Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel, who will receive my sardonic eye this time? Check out the new trailer that highlights the mask making ability.
Another week, another Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel trailer. This could only mean one of two things; either someone at Visceral Games has too much time on their hands and is producing loads of trailers, or the game must be ready for release pretty soon. Let's assumes that it is the latter as this 2 player co-op title will grace the PS3 and 360 from the 26th of March.
A new Army of Two: Devil’s Cartel co-op trailer has been revealed, showing off gameplay from the first level of the game and much needed teamwork to survive in this sequel intact.
Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel is just a few months away. Today we have a new video featuring not-Salem and not-Rios looking and sounding an awful lot like Salem and Rios. Like the previous Army of Two titles, the game is built around cooperative game play. Flanking your enemies while your partner draws fire is the name of the ga...
In keeping with modern gaming I no longer number my news posts. This is not News Post 347, but News Post: Operation StormPit. Confused? You should be, but no more so than by Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel, that could have just been called Army of 2 3. If you have time to scrape your brains off the floor, now that they have exploded, check out the new story trailer for the game and a Dev Diary.
While the previous bromance is over, there's a new one brewing in Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel. At the heart of it all appears to be some gorgeous environments just ripe to be exploded into tiny bits of debris and dust.
Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel is attempting to reinvent the series. According to Visceral Games' Greg Rizzer, there will be a lot less bro-y hijinks and a lot more serious business. The latest developer diary from "PWNED," EA's in-house house gaming magazine, explores some of the new features of the third person shooter. Alpha and Bravo don the masks of the T.W.O. and go to war against a deadly drug cartel. Remember, everyone they kill had it coming.
