Still on track for release this summer, Charlie Murder now has a launch trailer! The quick 65 second video shows a dozen or so scenes from the game along with music that'll totally get your blood pumping. It doesn't divulge a lot of information, new or otherwise, but it's eye-catching and a great way to convince your pals to join in on the inevitable co-op "brawl-PG" fun.

Charlie Murder Item Abilities Revealed

New details have emerged about Charlie Murder, the upcoming music-themed RPG/beat-em-up from Ska Studios. The game has been in development for quite some time, but new details leak out on a regular basis, so we're still pretty psyched about it. Charlie Murder will rely heavily on gaining levels, boosting stats with ability points, and finding/using various pieces of equipment, which includes things like badass Viking helmets, t-shirts, gloves and relics.

From bony punk to bony punk with a shirt on

New Character Concept Art for XBLA Brawler Charlie Murder

Ska Studios has slowly been releasing pieces of concept art and screenshots for its upcoming Xbox Live Arcade beat-em-up RPG (brawl-PG, if you will) Charlie Murder. The most recent piece shows Lester Deth's transition from shirtless punk with pale skin to a shirt-wearing punk with darker skin. Actually, several of the characters seem to have started out shirtless, including the band's manager and hypnotist, Kelly Skitten. Don't worry, though. Resident massive human, The Rexecutioner, is still brawling and drumming topless.

Streets of Rock, anyone?

More Charlie Murder Screens Escape, but the Brawl-PG Still a Long Way Off

Details are still scarce about Ska Studios' upcoming Xbox Live Arcade exclusive, Charlie Murder. We know it's a four player beat-em-up with RPG elements, which creator James Silva has coined as a brawl-PG. I'm fond of RPG-eat-em-up, myself. Anyway, the game revolves around the members of a band called Charlie Murder setting out to stop the evil band Gore Quaffer and its monstrous minions from doing bad things. That's still a bit vague, but three new screenshots (plus a brief video from PAX East) give us a better idea of what to expect.

From the Makers of the Dishwasher Series: Charlie Murder

Ska Studios has given us some fantastic co-op games, including the XBLA titles The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai, The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile, and XBLIG I MAED A GAM3 W1TH Z0MB1ES 1NIT!!!1. The small studio (we're talking two people) is hard at work on their latest bloody adventure, Charlie Murder. We don't know much about the game other than that it supports four player drop-in co-op. The previous Dishwasher titles had both local and online co-op, so our fingers are crossed for combo co-op. We do have a kick-ass video to show you. Enjoy.
