Battle the secret Zombie Mode bosses until the event concludes on Nov 1

A Halloween Celebration for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare

It's officially the spookiest month of the year and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is getting in the spirit with "Willard Wyler's Halloween Scream." Willard Wyler, if you remember, is the enigmatic director (voiced by Paul Reubens) that dishes out all those challenges for you and your squad in the Zombie Mode. This special event runs until November 1, and includes Double XP events, a new co-op game mode, and some other Halloween-themed goodies.

Tiny zombies sound absolutely terrifying

This little bit of Killing Floor 2 news was lost in the E3 shuffle, but the zombie killing cooperative FPS title kicked off the summer last week with some new challenges to enjoy in the game. Limited time event introduces new map, new character kit

Tackle New Threats in Mass Effect: Andromeda Weekend Event

Mass Effect: Andromeda finally arrived earlier this week and the reception thus far has been... mixed. We're still checking it out ourselves and putting together our own thoughts on the co-op aspects of it, but if you've already procured it then there's a little good news for you. There's a special weekend event going on right now that adds a new co-op map to play through as well as a new character kit.

We finally get some information (and playtime!) on Insomniac's upcoming action shooter

Fuse Hands-On Impressions (EA Naughty or Nice Event)

Today I attended the EA’s annual Naughty or Nice winter event, where they show off their upcoming games for the upcoming Winter and Spring quarters. The real highlight of the event for me was Fuse, the upcoming action/shooter game from developer Insomniac. If you’ll remember, Fuse is the new name for the game previously known as Overstrike, and earlier this fall it was announced that the game was receiving a rework. Since the information about Fuse has been pretty sparse, I was enthusiastic about the opportunity to learn more about the game and try it out firsthand.

Join Team Co-Optimus and Support Extra Life 2012

Every October, Extra Life hosts "the biggest gaming charity event of the year" and they're not kidding. Extra Life is huge, and since 2008, they've raised over $2 million for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. That cash helped pay for treatments for sick kids who are suffering from illnesses like cancer and cystic fibrosis. These hospitals give kids a chance to live, grow up, and experience the world. This year, Co-Optimus is joining the effort.

Magfest 2012 In Pictures

This past weekend I packed my bags and headed south to Washington, DC to check out Magfest - a festival that celebrates videogames and videogame music.  The show has plenty of stuff for folks to do including a free play arcade with many classic cabinets (including my favorite Moon Patrol).  There's also a LAN party area, table top gaming area, and plenty of independent artists selling their wares.
