Robot Entertainment (the studio behind Orcs Must Die!, Hero Academy, and, of course, the co-op tower defense/action RPG hybrid Orcs Must Die! 2) turns four years old this weekend! Congrats, guys! To celebrate, they're running a massive 75% off sale on their games and DLC. During this weekend, you can pick up Orcs Must Die! 2 for a mere $3.74 through their store! It'll provide you with a code that you can redeem through Steam (note that Steam itself is not offering this sale, so you'll have to go through the Robot Entertainment store for the discount).

Orcs Must Die! 2 received its third booster pack at the very end of last month. Entitled “Are We There Yeti?” it packs a very similar amount of content as the other booster packs. The folks at Robot Entertainment generously hooked us up with a couple of review codes, so I got to sit down with the newest OMD2 DLC and give it a whirl.

Orcs Must Die! 2 has gotten another piece of DLC, errr, booster pack.  The latest piece of content is called Are We There Yeti? and features three new ice themed levels and new creatures including a Yeti.    In the spirit of Halloween the pack also includes new community inspired skins for the War Mage and Sorceress to mix things up.  This is the third piece of content released for Orcs Must Die! 2, which features two player online co-op.

Steam is holding a sale to celebrate Halloween and there's plenty of titles that are being offered at 50% to 75% off.   Let's see some of the highlights.

I’m a big fan of Orcs Must Die! and its co-op sequel, Orcs Must Die! 2 (henceforth OMD2). I had a blast with OMD2 when it came out two months ago (as can probably be seen with the 5 out of 5 I gave it), but since then the “other twos” (other big titles that end with the number two) have sucked my attention away from this humorous, action-driven tower defense game. This week, however, I had the excuse of diving back into the game with the recently released “booster pack,” Family Ties .

Robot Entertainment just announced today that they will be releasing their second booster pack for Orcs Must Die! 2 tomorrow (September 26th). Entitled Family Ties, the DLC will offer a hefty amount of new stuff for orc slayer fans.

The PAX content just keeps rolling in, the latest is our surprise interview with Justin Korthof of Robot Entertainment.  Mike and Nick found him roaming the show floor and decided to hit him up to chat about Orcs Must Die! 2.  We gave the game a solid 5 out of 5, but the rest of the internet may not have been so kind, so we got the details on what he thought as well as the new Fire and Water DLC.

Robot Entertainment have announced their first piece of DLC for Orcs Must Die! 2 on the PC.  The content is being called a booster pack, specifically "Fire & Water" and features new levels, new enemies and new challenges for players to experience in both single player and co-op.

We love ourselves some co-op Orcs Must Die! 2, after all - we gave the game a 5 out of 5.  What do we love even more?  Free weekly content!  Robot Entertainment have announced weekly player challenges starting today and every Friday following  Each challenge is playable in single-player or co-op and features a specific level, character, and trap loadout to master, all created weekly by Robot themselves.

We seem to be having a little problem around these parts, namely, an Orc problem.  Therefore, they must die.  To celebrate the their slaughter we're giving away copies of the recently releases Orcs Must Die! 2 for the PC.  The game features a two player online co-op campaign that was a total daisy.

Orcs Must Die! received much praise, but one thing that many asked was "where's the co-op?!" Orcs Must Die! 2 returns with this greatly desired feature. Is it as epic as everyone was hoping? Find out in our co-op review.

Robot Entertainment have announced that a demo is available for their upcoming game, Orcs Must Die! 2, on Steam.  The action/strategy ame is slated to be released this coming Monday, July 30th.  The demo contains two of the early levels, fully playable in co-op as either the War Mage or Sorceress.  You'll also get a taste of a handful of the new traps and other whizbang things available in your arsenal.

We're in the middle of a summer drought (not just in gaming either), but the parched release schedule does offer us Orcs Must Die 2 on July 31. As the game approaches, more and more details creep our way, just like the relentless orcish hordes. The latest bit of news reveals a nice bonus for owners of the first game.

Robot Entertainment just announced that their upcoming action/tower defense hybrid sequel (Orcs Must Die! 2) will feature a brand new mode, available in both single-player and co-op. Entitled "Endless Mode," players will face unending waves of orcs with the game only ending when the players are defeated. The mode will be playable across ten different levels (5 campaign levels and 5 original, Endless-only levels). 

It was just the other day that Andrew was lamenting that July looked quite barren for co-op gamers, with Anarchy Reigns being delayed until next year there wasn't much else on the release schedule, well, except for THAT indie game.  It looks like Blue Shield Alliance is about to get a buddy on the calendar as Robot Entertainment have announced an official release date for their co-op tower-defense like game, Orcs Must Die! 2.
