High Res Texture Pack Coming to PC Version of Monster Hunter: World

Cool, and the content on the consoles will be coming... when?

Do you have an awesome graphics card with 8 Gb of VRAM, an extra 40 Gb of space on your hard drive, and are a fan of Monster Hunter: World on the PC? Good news! Next week, Capcom is releasing a high resolution texture pack to make those little dents on your armor a little less blurry!

When it comes to "before/after" screenshots to demonstrate the graphical differences of something, Capcom may not have made the best choice with this:

Yes, there are some differences between the two up-close elbow images above, but it's not exactly the kind of difference where you might think, "man! This is definitely worth the 8 Gb of VRAM and 40 Gb of hard drive space!" But, hey, it's nice that the PC version is at least getting something as it's still running behind the console versions in terms of content.

Monster Hunter: World is available on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Four player online co-op is supported in most hunting missions. The big "Iceborne" expansion is slated for a Fall 2019 release on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and sometime after that for PC.
