CDV has released a new trailer for the Xbox 360 version of the four player co-op RPG Sacred 2: Fallen Angel. While there's no co-op to be had in the trailer you can get a taste of two of the game's classes; the High Elf and the Temple Guardian.
Some time ago we posted a rumor on how Mass Effect 2, an RPG from Bioware, would have a co-op mode. And while we still don't have an official confirmation of the co-op mode, we do know that Bioware is very interested in making multiplayer games.
Army of Two was a bit of a surprise last year, and according to most folks, it was one of 2008's top co-op titles. The upcoming sequel looks to expand on that strong co-op experience. IGN has an extensive preview of the game up, and so far the game looks very, very promising. This quote, in particular, should have fans of cooperative gameplay foaming at the mouth.
To reign in April properly, we're welcoming The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai to the Xbox Live Arcade! The Dishwasher is a visually fascinating 2-D action platforming game exclusive to the XBLA, featuring 2 player co-op both online, and off. This game also has a bizarre side-feature. One that utilizes the Xbox 360 guitar that many of us already own, to unleash some wicked moves simply by rocking out on guitar. Who doesn't want to 'shred' some zombies, cyborgs, and robots with their buddies?
The first Lost Planet was a solitary affair, but the sequel looks to be a far more team based experience. Details of the four player co-op featured in Lost Planet 2 are coming to light, and we like what we see. Check out this quote from OXM:
