Amidst all the battle royales, failed arcade shooters, and rat killing simulators released over the last couple years, Rainbow 6 Siege has continued to chug along, content to quietly release new content for their core, tactics-obsessed audience. Well, this weekend, Ubisoft is looking to expand said audience with another chance to check the game out for free.
Mike and Locke took on the challenge a few years ago, and last night, Locke and Jason did their best to overcome mud and surprisingly deep rivers in Spintires: MudRunner. They had... some... success?
We're getting ever closer to the holiday season and that means the bigger game releases are starting to wind down for the year. This week, we've got LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 on all the modern platforms, Rocket League on the Switch, and Star Wars: Battlefront II on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, though it's worth noting that only the console versions of the game support co-op per our site's definition.
Call of Duty: WWII returns players to the original theater of war that made the series popular, World War II. Both the original and the highly popular sequel, Call of Duty 2, put players into famous battle, but it was the second game’s d-day invasion mission, as players stormed the beaches of Normandy, that drew players into the game on a con...
In this issue of MMO Co-Opportunities, we’ll be spotlighting the recently released second expansion to Guild Wars 2, Path of Fire. Specifically, we’ll be examining how its three big features (new story/map content, mounts, and new Elite Specializations) stack up in terms of co-opportunity capability....
The Co-Opticrew has quite the varied lineup scheduled for this weekend. In fact, the only games that seem to be getting the double-dip treatment are Divinity: Original Sin 2 and Super Mario Odyssey. To be honest, I think that's gonna be pretty hard to avoid, at least until we finish up all the combined content they have to offer in, say, 2023. Get this, we're even diving into *gasp* mobile gaming, if for no other reason but to scratch a certain tactical RPG itch.
It looks like the folks at Toylogic have had it with people moaning about XP events. Out of the kindness of their hearts, they've been granting the occasional limited-time XP multiplier for their latest release, Happy Dungeons, but that's (presumably) just not enough.
Earlier this week, Hi-Rez added a new co-op adventure to their F2P god battler, SMITE. We decided to dive in and check it out, despite our lack of skill or knowledge about the game. We've also got a few codes to giveaway that will net you the "Ultimate God Pack" (which means you'll be able to play all currently available gods, and all future ones as well) and add 10k gems (the premium currency) to your account.
In a recent blog post, Ubisoft acknowledged that it has been nearly two years since their launch of Rainbow 6 Siege, but their plan to keep heaping out content releases hasn’t changed. The post covers their latest, Operation White Noise, but perhaps the most exciting bit is a brief “We will have more news to share on the exciting things to come in Year 3...” early on, meaning that this may just be the start.
We've got an exclusive giveaway for our readers to take advantage of the closed Alpha for Wild Buster: Heroes of Titan. The game is dubbed an MMOARPG that looks like a cross between a twin stick shooter and Diablo. It's a sci-fi heavily influenced universe that looks absolutely crazy in motion.
The folks over at HyperX Gaming sent over their latest headset - the Cloud Alpha for us to check out. My ears have been getting a workout lately looking at both a set from Sennheiser and SteelSeries fairly recently. The Cloud Alpha is competitive with both of these - especially since they all fall right around the $100 price point. So how does it stack up?
