Like the first game, Killing Floor 2 is a game that just keeps on giving. Even 6 years after release, Tripwire keeps updating the game with new content. The latest update adds a deep-sea oil rig map, new weapons and cosmetics, and quality of life improvements to the venerable first-person co-op shooter. Killing Floor 2 is currently on sale on Steam, so now's a great time to jump on board and enjoy the game's huge wealth of maps and playable classes.

Almost exactly a year ago, we wrote about an in-development game called DeathRun TV from Laser Dog and Merge Games. DeathRun is a twin-stick shooter/Roguelike that takes obvious inspiration from The Running Man and, just maybe, Smash TV. Fast-forwarding to now, DeathRun TV has finally launched on Steam and Switch, but there's a catch: the co-op mode that was initially announced is nowhere to be found. Still, even as a single-player-only game, DeathRun TV is pretty solid and compelling.

Yes, dudes and dudettes, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge will be launching on consoles and PC later this week. With the release date has come lots of news about the turtle brothers' newest adventure. Last week, for instance, we reported that a physical soundtrack release would be coming. Today, Kid Katana Records officially opened up preorders for three editions of the soundtrack. What's more, the Xbox version of Shredder's Revenge can finally be preordered (for gamers who won't be playing for free on Game Pass).

Since yesterday's release date announcement, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge is practically all anybody is talking about around here. We've been super excited for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, the follow-up to Warhammer: Vermintide 2, ever since the game was announced back in 2020. Fatshark, the Sweden-based developer, has done a fine job of rolling out new information and cinematics trailers since that first announcement. Ninja Turtles fans have been hotly anticipating the release of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge, the upcoming beat 'em up from Dotemu and Tribute Games. Rumors recently circulated about a mid-June release, and they have turned out to be true. Not only did Dotemu confirm the release date today, the publisher revealed Casey Jones as a playable character, 6-player co-op, and Game Pass availability for the Xbox version of the game!

Back in 1991, Konami released a western-themed run-and-gun shooter called Sunset Riders. There has never really been another game that captured Sunset Riders' magical style... until now. Limited Run Games and Monster Bath Games have just announced Deathwish Enforcers, a game that combines the spirit of Konami's classic shooter with a satirical 1970s style. It will feature 4-player local co-op when it arrives on PlayStation and Switch sometime in the future.

Studio MDHR's Cuphead launched on Xbox and PC five years ago, eventually making its way to Switch and PlayStation as well. We all loved the game, even if it could be frustratingly difficult at times. All these years later, Cuphead is set to get a DLC expansion called "The Delicious Last Course" at the end of this month. Last year, ININ released G-Darius HD, an enhanced version of Taito's arcade classic shoot 'em up. In our co-op review, we praised the game's gameplay but felt that it could have used more additional modes for the $30 price tag. Well, our wishes were answered in a big way via the recent Version 2 update. Developer M2 has added a whopping three additional variations of G-Darius, including the robust PSOne version of the game. Now that's how I like my fish-flavored sci-fi shooters!

A few years back, a feudal Japan-themed beat 'em up called Samurai Riot from indie developer Wako Factory debuted on Steam. The game has now launched on Switch, and the Steam version has been retitled as Samurai Riot Definitive Edition. A story-heavy co-op beat 'em up, this game follows a pair of samurai as they choose whether to support a rebellion against their cruel master or put it down for good.
