Sony brought the games, games, and more games but none of them seemed to be on the Vita. Nick travelled across town to see what Sony had in store for their E3 2012 press conference. Check out the predictions and aftermath in the video below:
Nick was the only one who made it into the EA Press Conference so he gave us his before and after thoughts on the publisher's presser. Coming from the Orpheus theatre, EA had quite the show coming out in full force with their bread and butter titles.
It seems Spec-Ops: The Line is having a hard time trying to decide if it wants to be with the blond co-op in the class. She's nice and all, but their relationship is on again, off again more often than a shoddy wi-fi connection at an E3 press conference. 2K Games have announced that Spec-Ops the line has re-added a co-op mode, this time in the form of free DLC which will be released shortly after the game.
In case you missed it, one of the surprise announcements of Microsoft's Press Briefing this morning at E3 2012 was the unveiling of a new Splinter Cell game. Called Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Blacklist, players are once again dropped into the shoes of Sam Fisher in a game that looks to take close combat to a new level. In it we saw the mark and execute system that was made famous by Splinter Cell Conviction, taken a step further allowing it to be utilizing on the fly and in motion. What transpired on the screen can only be described as a blend of Assassin's Creed and Splinter Cell.
Day 1 of E3 has already come and gone. It was a long one with things kicking off bright and early with Microsoft Press Conference and ending a bit late with Sony's. By my watch there was a solid 12 hours of gaming PR going strong today and the entire Co-Opticrew (Nick and Mike pictured with Scott Benton of In Game Chat above) were there to cover with our man Locke Vincent behind the camera.

Ubisoft's Press Conference at E3 2012 illustrated what a talented studio they are, especially when they are pushing the boundaries of technology by being the first to show a live demo of the WiiU this year. Rayman Legends was the piece that caught our eye with 5 player co-op that will be using the unique WiiU Gamepad controller.
Ubisoft just announced at the Sony Press Conference that Far Cry 3 will have 4 player co-op. A group of four friends will be able to play through a dedicated co-operative campaign that will contain a totally separate experience than the single player. Grab your guns and sun tan lotion because we're going to take this island back.
More news is storming the internet today as E3 2012 progresses. We've got details from EA's press conference regarding a premium service for Battlefield 3. Previous rumors have been confirmed: Battlefield 3 Premium is a DLC bundle, similar to Gears of War 3's Season Pass. In essence, by paying up front for all five pieces of DLC, Premium members will save $25 and have access to content two weeks before anyone else. Other perks include exclusive items like an ACB-90 knife and unique dogtags. Sounds like a great deal for fans of EA's flagship shooter.
We were all very impressed by what we saw of Halo 4 at the Microsoft press conference, and for those of you who didn't manage to catch the livestream, we now have footage of the stage demo for you. The footage shows Master Chief and Cortana track down the UNSC Infinity after it crashes on the same world that our favorite Spartan ended up on at the end of Halo 3.
