Gather the Kids for Sesame Street: Once Upon a Monster

I know what you're thinking; "Oh great, another kids game for the Kinect."  And you'd be right!  But what separates Sesame Street: Once Upon a Monster from other Kinect titles?  Tim. Schafer.  His Double Fine Productions have recently created a slew of successful downloadable games over the past year.  This latest venture includes an iconic licensed franchise and kid-friendly motion controls.  It should be awesome.  I'm going to try the demo right now!

New Trailer for Sideway: New York Brings Graffiti to Life

Have you heard of Sideway: New York?  You haven't?  That's a shame.  Well, now's your chance to check out a trailer for this graffiti platformer.  To be honest, I saw still images of the game, and they did nothing for me.  Then I saw it in action, and I instantly regretted not queuing up for a chance at a review code.  Don't take my word for it, check out the video.  It's a cool mix of 2D platforming in 3D environments.  You'll see what I mean.

Twisted Pixel Embraces Microsoft Acquisition

Game studio acquisitions aren't always good news for gamers, especially when the studio in question is has enough momentum to stay afloat on its own. New parent companies can get in the way of quality product development. It's a fair reason for gamers to be gun-shy about acquisition news. Thankfully, Twisted Pixel has never led us to believe they would rather sell out than make great games.

Get a portal gun for the huntress class and TF2 pets by pre-ordering from Steam

Steam Offers Pre-Order Incentives for Dungeon Defenders

Dungeon Defenders is coming out next Wednesday. No really - after a ton of delays (which sound like they may have been worth it, due to the crazy amount of features the game will now have), it'll finally be coming to your PC, 360, or PS3, depending on your preference. In what is perhaps an effort to sway more PC sales, Steam is offering some Valve-oriented pre-order incentives for your pre-ordering delight. A Steam pre-order will grant any of your characters access to four Team Fortress 2 familiars/pets, and your Huntress class access to a portal gun. Don't believe me? Check out the video and details - the proof is in the pudding!

The Kinect co-op game Hulk Hogan's Main Event is out so here is a trailer

Get Ready to Rumble with the Hulk Hogan's Main Event Launch Trailer

Hulk Hogan must be old, I remember watching him as a child - and I know I'm old.  Busted knees, sore backs and sagging pectorals aren't enough to keep Hollywood Hogan (or me) down for the three count.  His new 2 player co-op Kinect game, Hulk Hogan's Main Event, has recently launched so Majesco have smacked down a new trailer.
